Location is great, but cost of parking in Edmonton is ridiculous. I live in Vernon BC and parking at hotel/motels is still free.

Our room had no hot water and the staff acted annoyed they had to help with this. The hotel itself is nice and we’ve stayed there many times. This was our first negative experience so that was disappointing. The area all over downtown has become dangerous. So can’t fault the hotel for that.

Amazing service and property. Only concern was temperature. Room started at 24c and despite turning cool on high, the room only got down to 21c which was still too warm.

Hotel was OK, nothing special. parking was an additional $50, didn't expect that. No continental breakfast. Over priced but maybe that's how all hotels in downtown Edmonton are.

Very interesting how every single hotel I’ve been at gives you complimentary water bottles, but this one charges you 4$ per bottle, also parking is atrocious. Just an FYI if you decide to stay here!

Positives - The staff were very friendly and helpful! The location was very convenient to the Shaw Convention Centre. The valet parking was quick and easy. We asked for more cups in our room and they were brought up promptly. They kept our luggage in the back room as our conference was longer than our stay allowed us to stay in our hotel room - thanks. Negatives - The comforter had blood on it. The temperature in our room wouldn't work properly, as it was too hot. A maintenance man tried to fix it but to no avail. We were offered a different room but were already in our pajamas. Our toilet was clogged when we first got to our room. When a maintenance person was called, they came quickly and got it unclogged.

Free Valet parking, super-close to convention centre. Wi-fi was so-so, rooms were a bit cramped. Beautiful view of the river valley from restaurant. Very friendly and helpful wait staff.

The room was clean and had a good view. The room is a little small but overall good. My only issue is that the menu for the hotel is limited and pricey. Mocktails are the same price as a regular drink. Which is crazy because more and more places are having non-alcoholic options for people who chose not to drink.

Very comfortable & warm. Food is restaurant was great and the gym treadmills are brand new & top notch! Valet parking is the same as regular parking & worth the cost in cold weather.

Wont stay again
Clean hotel. Water temperature for the showers was not warm enough. Also i requested a late check-out but they did not accomodate it. If check-out is at noon and if the guest asks for two hours of extra time that should be accomodated. Stayed ar Sandman and they were very nice about this. So wont be booking back and will let my business partners know about thism

Happy with how quiet it was.Was offered FREE valet parking at a charge of $40(found this out once we got our bill), shocked they call this FREE. The Valet didn’t even take our vehicle, we self parked which was weird. Lady was nice upon 4:30pm check in but not so friendly when we asked if we could have a view of the river even though I had booked over 6 months ago, sge claimed it was “full”, we were there mid week and it was quiet… again strange. Hotel was quiet- again pretty sure because it wasn’t full. Close to Roger’s Place.

I really enjoyed my stay at this location. The staff was great and welcoming and quick to help with any questions I had. The only cons were my room sink wasn't very clean, still had some grit in it, and the parking was on the expensive side. However, I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Check in took over 30 min yes I understand it was busy but three people in front of us and over 30min. Guest after guest coming back down as their room keys they just received were not working or the got keys to a room other people were already staying in! Once we arrived in our room it was freezing we tried multiple times to get the heat working and it would not go over 19 degrees. They are due for some maintenance as the shower leaked all over the floor and the bed needs replacing.
