Oak Haven – Edisto Beach Family Retreat

Welcome to Oak Haven, a recently remodeled and meticulously crafted beach side home tailored to families seeking the perfect retreat. Nestled among majestic Live Oak Trees with a history spanning centuries, this distinctive home serves as the ideal haven to relax and relish your Edisto getaway. The Space:

The house is a direct 2-minute walk to beach access 13, at the end of our street. Access 13 does not have any stairs or deep sand, making for easy entry with strollers and beach wagons.



The kitchen houses brand new appliances (2023) and is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware to make any family recipe. If you're craving steaks and burgers, head downstairs and light the propane gas grill! The coffee machine allows for both single K cups and ground coffee for carafes. Four large bar stools sit beside the peninsula. The dining table sits 6-7 with bench seating. The family rooms expansive 110 inch sofa fits 5 adults; the perfect spot to enjoy the 60 inch smart TV. Wifi and Xfinity major network channels are included.



The center living space leads to hallways on each side of the house, where the bedrooms and bathrooms are located. Each hallway can be closed off allowing for privacy: The right side has 2 bedrooms with a centered bathroom.



Bedroom 1: King sized bed that offers direct access to the back deck and gazebo via the sliding glass door. 43" Smart TV in Bedroom.



Bedroom 2: Queen bed + Twin bed with views of the front porch.



The left side has 2 bedrooms with a centered bathroom. A brand new washer and dryer unit is located in the hallway closet.



Bedroom 3: King sized bed with views of the front porch. 43" Smart TV in Bedroom.



Bedroom 4: Bunk room: Twin over double bunk bed with separate twin bed.



USB outlets are provided in each bedroom on the nightstands to allow for easy access for charging all of your devices.



Take a moment to enjoy the simple things — sip your morning coffee or unwind with an evening cocktail in the peaceful treetop gazebo. This charming little spot has a comfy seating area and warm café lights, making it the perfect place to relax. Out front, the porch offers even more room to kick back, with a large dining table for six and four classic rocking chairs just waiting for you to settle in and enjoy the view.



Save some room in the car and leave your beach chairs, bikes, and beach umbrellas at home. We offer 12 beach chairs, 4 bikes, and 3 umbrellas for our guests to use during their stay.



When you return from the beach, rinse off all the sand in the new outdoor shower with hot and cold water.



Guest Access:

You have the entire property to yourself during your stay. A unique door code will be provided to you the day of your arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Quiet street with direct access to Beach Access 13 just a 2 minute walk at the end of the street. Convenient to restaurants, shopping, and biking.



Getting Around:

The beach is a short 2 min walk. We have a large driveway suitable for 6+ vehicles. Golf carts and bikes can be rented from several locations on the island.

AMENITIES:

We provide bath towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. We also provide a starter pack of K-cups, a variety of spices, salt, pepper, sugar, and more. Take advantage of our blender, crock pot, stainless steel appliances and more. We have beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and 4 bikes for you to use during your stay



ENTRY:

There is a keypad located at the front door for a simple keyless entry. You will be provided with a 4-digit code the morning of your arrival. The code is changed after every guest.



PARKING:

There is parking for at least 5 cars in the driveway as well as two cars underneath the home



INTERNET:

The house has reliable high speed Internet which makes for a perfect work-cation getaway!



You can access your Hulu, Netflix and other streaming accounts with the Smart TV. Please note that there is no live TV unless it is included with one of your streaming accounts.



We do have 1 exterior security camera overlooking the street.



Beach towels are not provided.



We do not allow pets in our home without specific approval.



We do not issue refunds due to weather. We strongly encourage that you purchase travel insurance in the event of severe weather that this area is prone to especially during hurricane season.
