Spacious flat, well stocked and very comfortable. Istructions were timely and precise. Of note, up 3 flights of fairly steep stairs, and management company requires a 200 pound damage deposit separate from vrbo.
Terrific location. A roomy, tidy flat. Stairs up to third floor might be an issue for some. For us (65 years old and in good health) it was not an issue.
Unit is large and very well equipped. The location is 100 meters from the Main Street. Would recommend to anyone.
Entrance is poorly lit and needs light bulbs replaced.
Suggestion for unit is to remove the kitchen door for better access to the fridge.
Had a great 8 days there.
Great apartment 1 block from the Royal Mile! Clean, well equipped. Everything we wanted or needed was there. I appreciate that there were several types of coffee in the apartment for that early morning cup ☕️. Washer/dryer worked well 👍. The stairs were a bit of a challenge, especially carrying suitcases, but that was explained in the description. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Edinburgh!
the Apartment was clean and kitchen was kitted with everything that you would need. On line it is mentioned that this is one the 3rd floor, which is true. The stairs are a bit much carrying suitcases, especially if you are older. Our only negative is the bath/shower. There are no hand rails at all, this making getting in and out of the shower difficult. You are next door to a restaurant so be aware that the cooking odors rise.

You're on your own
The location was terrific. That's about the only good thing I can say. We were told that there would be a guest information folder in the flat, but could not find one. We used the support email to ask a few straightforward questions. The responses were slow and unhelpful (e.g., "check the guest information folder"). We had difficulty figuring out how to operate the washer/dryer and the support staff essentially ignored our requests for help. While we got the machine to work eventually, it did not effectively dry our clothes.
In short, we spent a lot of time, energy, and anxiety during our vacation dealing with things that could have been easily fixed with even slightly competent property management staff. So if you rent this flat, enjoy the location and know that if you run into any issues, you're on your own.
Great location. Right out the front door of the building and you are in Hunter Square and access to everything. Nice local Pub and restaurants close as well.

Right next to the Royal Mile was awesome. Lots to do & see within walking distance. Was very cozy in our accommodations. Stairwell was poorly lit but everything else was great!
Very good. Position is perfect but some problem … the flat was third floor very uncomfortable staircase then the bathroom sink didn't drain and I they not had to carefully check the layout of the house
Our flat was well -appointed and clean, importantly. Two things a traveler should know — the flat is three flights up, no lift. The stairwell is dimly lit and spiral staircase is cement and dirty. A local friend said that was common In Edinburgh but the flat was sunny, clean and comfortable. Good wifi. Also the neighborhood has so many bars and restaurants that it’s noisy at night with drunken revelers. (Also common for Edinburgh.). There’s a Sainsbury grocer a few blocks down so you don’t have to eat every meal out. City Cafe next door is good for breakfast. Almost everything is walkable or easy to reach by bus— use Google and the transit or walking button. You can take the 100 Airlink from the airport that leaves you close to the flat.
