Quiet but close to City Centre. Free parking & 2 bathrooms (one newly replaced)

  • This attractive apartment provides the best of both worlds; it is within walking distance of Edinburgh City Centre, but is situated in a quiet location with the added benefit of a parking space. With Princes Street and the City Centre only a short walk, you can easily be at the heart of Edinburgh’s shopping, historic and cultural district. For nightlife, the apartment offers convenient access to popular bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. And when you want a break from the bustle and excitement of the city, the peaceful Royal Botanic Gardens are within walking distance (approx. 15 mins), as are excellent transport connections to out of town attractions. The apartment itself contains two bedrooms (one double and one twin, both with new mattresses from January 2024), one with en-suite facilities. The lounge / dining area open out onto a small patio area, for which a table and chairs are provided.

    There is a car park for the development which guests are to use. It is free subject to guests entering the vehicle details into the parking system. There is not an allocated spot, but we have never struggled to find a space.

Good time in Edinburgh

Lovely apartment with everything you could need for a holiday in this lovely city. Convenient car parking just outside the door. 10 minute walk to town and tram stop just around the corner...so convenient if coming from the airport.

The property met our needs and the location was good to access areas in the city. The check in process required contacting the host to resolve issues with the parking permit. Areas of improvement, need hooks for clothes in the bathrooms and the beds were small. There was staining in one bedroom's carpet and couch.

Beautiful property

The apartment was very clean and well-stocked for our 10 day visit. Near public transit and shopping with easy access to busses and the Edinburgh tram. The free parking was a huge bonus. I would highly recommend and use again.

Great location with all the amenities

We loved having the feel of being in a home after so many nights with 3 of us in hotel rooms. The location was fantastic for walking most places we were going. It was so great being able to cook breakfast and do a load of laundry at the last few days of our trip. The people we met in the neighborhood were so nice and the owner answered the phone quickly with offering help.

Great location with large parking area. First floor with easy access. Very quiet at night. Site description 100% accurate. Many restaurants, shops, and pubs within walking distance. Uber to Royal Mile £8-£20 depending on time of day. Owner was very responsive and accommodating.

A nice flat great for families

The location was good- very convenient to the bus and tram (and even a stop on a hop on/off greater area tour). You could also walk easily most anywhere. There are also several grocery store options nearby and the kitchen is well equipped. It was great for our family as there were two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The beds are firm so you might want to take that into consideration if you prefer a soft mattress. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Spacious, Quiet and Comfortable

We very much enjoyed our time. The apartment was spacious for our 4 adults and had every amenity. Communication was excellent. It was a little far to walk from Waverly Station with luggage, so I would recommend and UBER for that, but easy to walk to Old Town without luggage. Make sure you eat at Momma Roma's italian. and make a reservation.

This is a wonderful little apartment. Great location! Great communication with host. Kitchen is set up well. Only knocked it down a bit because the bedroom carpets weren’t very clean and the beds not comfortable. Easy fix! I’m sure it’ll be the perfect place for the next guests!

Well located comfortable apartment

The apartment is well located just off Leith Walk and within easy walking (or bus or tram) distance of both Edinburgh centre and Leith. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of storage. Whilst not designated for disabled people it is all on one lever and ground floor and easily negotiated with a walker. the owners are really helpful and gave us full instruction on how to reach the apartment and how to use everything in it! The only thing I'd suggest is a few more leaflets on places to see, though as ex Edinburgh residents we were OK on that! Thanks to Sam and family for an enjoyable stay.

Lovely city centre stay!

We stayed over Christmas with my partner’s sister and elderly mother, and this ground floor apartment was perfect. Prior to arrival, we received detailed notes about how to find the apartment and how to access it - all were very easy to follow instructions. This continued when we entered and were presented with the ‘Welcome Book’. This has all the information we could possibly need during our stay. The location of the property was perfect too; it was close enough to the city centre that we could have a leisurely stroll to the shops when needed, but also far enough out that we were away from the hustle and bustle over the busy Christmas period.
