"There was a marathon “weekend” the entire weekend. When we checked in, the person at the desk gave a great welcome and explained the “kickback” reception and free breakfast but never mentioned that the music from the marathon would be blaring at 6am on Saturday morning. We could not sleep even with earplugs. If we had known, we would have made other plans for the evening before. then, we were completely shocked to have the same thing happen again on Sunday morning. I was given the valet parking for free as compensation but I now have to change my plans to drive back to my home - too long of a drive with so little sleep. Disappointed. They said they couldn’t offer any other compensation becuase I booked through Expedia."

"Room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful but the facility is located near train tracks. Stayed 1 night and it was not restful because it was noisy from train, traffic sounds, fog horn and other noises."

"Stone Gables was clean. The bed was very comfortable with a comforter that was warm on a cold rainy day. The description of the kitchen was inaccurate however. I was led to believe there were snacks, coffee, tea, water and soft drinks, however all that was available was coffee and water in your room. We actually went out and bought soft drinks (12 pack) that was actually stolen in the communal kitchen. The host was very accommodating allowing us to check in early. Also the host did “make it right” by crediting my card for the stolen soft drinks. My suggestion is to be careful with what you put in the communal kitchen."

"The hotel is centrally located, clean and up to date! The room was fabulous with a view of the lake and mall A for the Cleveland Marathon. Elevators were fast, staff was friendly and room was very clean. Will stay here again."

"This was a beautiful place for our family of 5. Very clean and comfortable. I loved having 3 bathrooms with showers. It’s reasonably close to the airport, restaurants, downtown, and other places. We just loved it and highly recommend!!"
