"OMGoodness!We can not say enough great things about this Old Florida at it's finest location!Carolyn was a dream to work with and went extra lengths to accomodate us as the river had overflowed it's banks and access to the cabin was an adventure! Read the book on the coffee table, Floyd is hilarious.We were there for two night in early August and arrrived in the rain. The screened porch was very comfortable to sit on until the rain stopped and we could get down to the dock on the river. We were concerned, but there we NO bugs! NONE.If you are looking for quiet, secluded, wildlife sightin', river sittin' relaxation this is for you.Everything you could possibly need is provided and then some. Note: You do NOT have to go down the 5 mile dirt road to get there like we did, but it was part of the adventure.Overall it was AHHhhhhmazing."

"We had great communication with the host. The house was clean and very well kept. The kitchen had everything we needed and the view was awesome. Wish we could have stayed longer. If you like widelife, this is the place for you.We saw dolphin,deer, osprey, and several other animals everyday."

"We had an amazing time at the Dragonfly! We loved the sunroom and with the golfcart we could go to the beach and the pool! Bud is a great host and respons very fast. There was coffee and many towels that is nice as we come from overseas so we dont have to bring our own! We def. Want to come back!"

"This place provided the perfect spot to gather with family. It was in close proximity to both Shell Point Beach and Live Oak Island where we met with other family members. The extra-large porch was a great place for morning coffee and evening wind down time. We really enjoyed our visit."
