Patoka Lake Solarium #16 at Patoka 4 Seasons Resort

  • Summary:

    This spacious home comfortably sleeps up to 13 guests, making it ideal for large families or group gatherings. Three of the bedrooms each feature one queen bed, one twin bed, and a TV with satellite service, providing plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements. The solarium offers additional space with two full-size sleeper futons, along with a wood-burning fireplace, TV with satellite, and a DVD player — perfect for relaxing or extra sleeping accommodations. There are two full bathrooms, each with a tub/shower combination and supplied with towels and basic toiletries for your convenience. The main living area includes a couch, loveseat, wood-burning fireplace (Please note: this fireplace is currently under maintenance.), and TV with satellite and DVD player, creating a welcoming space for everyone to gather. The kitchen is equipped with basic cooking utensils, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay.



    The Space:

    We are surrounded by the beautiful Patoka Lake, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. While the lake is not visible directly from the cabins, we do have walking paths that will take you right to the water. There are also nearby boat ramps, making it easy to get out and enjoy a day on the lake. Whether you’re boating, fishing, or simply taking in the scenery, the lake is just minutes away!

Value of the Stay

Our stay at this property was great! It was a group of military retirees that served together and get together at a different location each year. However, I learned after booking that a Military Veteran would have been eligible for a discount, BUT, not when booked through VRBO! In the future, I would suggest all booking options are exhausted before using VRBO, the fees and availability of deals are limited to non-existent!

Family group of adults

We were in area for the Red White and Brauen Music Festival and this location provided us with a great gathering point. Lots to do in area and a great cabin for us to share memories in. Loved our stay. ** Only comment of improvement would be more towels and possibly toweling for kutch and hand soaps for vanities.

Family vacation

There were 9 members of my family who all stayed in the cabin. We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed being at the cabin. I had one complaint. It was very hot the days we were there. We were outside for many activities so we did shower at least once a day. My complaint is we were not allowed to change out our wet towels for dry ones every day.

Thankful for quality time!

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay! 4 families in attendance. Plenty of room for all. Second living room was a big hit. Hoping to return next spring but also want to add a stay in fall. FYI on maintenance. Husband had some tools along and had to tighten screws on one of bathroom door handles...was very loose. One of the top hinges on cabinet door in kitchen was almost completely unattached. He had to add some wood to hole and tighten. Only other thing was the top hinge pin on the door was about half way out and had to be pushed down in. All were very happy and didn't want it to end. Thank You!!

Great multi family accommodation

Cabin is well maintained and equipped. There are 2 living areas which helps to accommodate multiple families or age groups, both have fireplaces. Each bedroom has a queen and single bed as well as 2 comfortable futon's in the solarium. The solarium has a door for privacy. There is a pool and game room on the property. You can access the lake from the property, but the cabin does not have a view of the lake. The grill is for charcoal only. There is no dishwasher. There is a firepit, and a outdoor table and chairs on the covered porch.

Clean, comfortable, pretty secluded

Six senior sisters seeking solitude stayed here. We each had our own bed and shared two bathrooms. Everything was as pictured. It was nice to have a door separating the solarium from the rest of the house so the early risers could enjoy their coffees and conversation without waking the others. There was a cabin across the road from us, but we never heard a peep from the residents. Check in was easy. The host was gracious. Wi-fi would cut out, so each time, we rebooted the router and that helped. We enjoyed watching movies in the solarium. We were about a 20 minute (easy) drive to French Lick.

Very nice

We had 8 people in the cabin and it was excellent. Very clean , nice place to stay ! I would recommend it to anyone wanting a cabin near the Patoka lake area !
