This spacious home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and is equipped with a wheelchair ramp and 36" door openings for added accessibility. Upstairs in the open loft area, you’ll find one queen bed and two twin beds, along with a convenient half bath. The downstairs bedroom features two queen beds. Each sleeping area includes a TV with satellite service for your enjoyment. The living area offers a comfortable gathering space with a couch, loveseat, wood-burning fireplace, and a TV with satellite and DVD player. The full bathroom includes a Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower and comes supplied with towels and basic toiletries. The full kitchen is stocked with basic cooking utensils to make meal preparation easy during your stay.

While the lake is not visible directly from the cabins, we do have walking paths that will take you right to the water. There are also nearby boat ramps, making it easy to get out and enjoy a day on the lake. Whether you’re boating, fishing, or simply taking in the scenery, the lake is just minutes away!

Relaxing.
Amazing few days away even through all the COVID. Although I paid a lot extra for two guests that didn't end up coming due to the virus, and still have not gotten my money back for that.

Great Cabin Location near pool
The cabin was charming but was hoping we would have a view of Lake Patoka instead of the woods. Most VRBOs we've stayed at included bath towels within the Overall Cost but this unit we had to rent each set of towels to be used. Also we had to purchase two extra arm bands for the entire stay in case our nearby relatives wanted to visit us at the location, which added an extra cost $60.00. I didn't like the whole armband idea since we were there for a funeral and didn't want to have to wear them while not on the property. Other than those inconveniences, we enjoyed the property.

Good time
very clean and easy to clean up on departure. Host is very friendly and cooperative at the office. Roads are a bit narrow pulling a boat in and out is exciting but manageable. We'll be back for sure

Cabin Vacation
My family visited this property this past weekend for a long weekend vacation and it was AWESOME! The cabin was very clean and cozy. The area we stayed in was quiet and it was peaceful to sit on the porch and enjoy the view. We loved how it was within driving distance (about 15 minutes) to French Lick and the Ski Resort. There is also a winery close by and Lake Pakota. We are already planning a future trip back to the area, same resort!!

Getting away
We have had a hard year as many have this year. We needed a break from the city and the normal every day life. The kids asked to go somewhere for Christmas instead of getting more presents. We all had a good time. The upstairs bathroom was a little small for a couple of the family members, but the downstairs bathroom was great! I would go back, and probably get the other cabin with the hot tub outside when it's warmer.

Cute place. Not properly equipped.
Very cute place and nice beds. Sad that there wes only one towel and no hand soap. Had to go to a gas station to buy hand soap due to the fact that they do not supply it. During a pandemic that seems insane to me. Front office said not supplied because they sell it....at a marked up price.

Quiet family time
Cabin was very cleaning and had everything we needed. Location of cabin was perfect being close to both the pool and the trail leading to the lake to fish. We will definitely be back again.

Girls weekend
This was an amazing trip. We got exactly what the listing said and more. Nice cottage - clean- comfy beds- great location too. What you can’t predict is how nice everyone is and how they treated us. So thankful we found this location! We will be back

Close to everything
We had a great stay! Cabin was clean, had everything needed, and just perfect for a couple of days away, exploring Marengo Cave, Patoka Lake, and Spring Mill State Park. Will definitely be back.

Nice, quiet, pleasantly clean, home feel
Was pleasantly surprised by how accurate the website showed the property. Really loved the feel of the cabin. So quiet, just what we needed. I didn't give quite all five stars because we ran in to some clerical issues (missing information etc.)between the owners and vrbo that we booked through. Would like to see that improved before booking through them again for sure. Also, a bit disappointed about hidden costs or charges for enjoying some amenities, like, fireplace. Just thought things like that would be included in the nightly fee.
