"This charming little boutique hotel is an easy 3-4 minute walk from the port. It was renovated three years ago, and the property is lovely in a minimalist chic style. My double room was on the third story with a partial sea view from the terrace, which was a perfect place to do a little writing. Kostas, the manager, is very friendly and helpful, with advice on where to go and what to do. There's a very small dipping pool, which is great if you don't want to make the effort to go to a beach. I'll definitely stay here again!"
"Communications with the host was excellent, the ferry ride over was on schedule, smooth and clean, upon arrival the host met us at the wharf and brought us to the property, about a 8 min walk along the main port and up a gradual incline.we rented the two bedroom apartment with a beautiful courtyard yard and were completely pleased with the property, it offered a complete kitchen, living space and the host had bottled water in the fridge and fresh bread delivered each morning. I cant say enough about Hydra and is people, it offered a little of everything and delivered it with grace and beauty. I can see where Lenard Cohen got some of his insperation, I would highly recommend the location and accommodations."
"We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay here again. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the harbor, but tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing.
The front desk host was incredibly kind and helpful, especially with carrying our bags up and down the stairs during both arrival and checkout, which made a big difference. The beds were very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was charming, with a beautiful open courtyard that had that classic, old-style Greek feel.
One of the highlights was the rooftop access with stunning views—definitely worth taking the time to enjoy. It’s also perfectly situated for exploring, with great shopping, dining, and wandering all just steps away.
Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hydra."
"The hotel is well located within walking distance of everything in Hydra. Staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of choices and fresh food. Nicely decorated furnishing and I really liked that we had cloth napkins when dining. Friendly staff made coffee for each of us, whatever our choice. I would recommend it to other travellers."
"Hotel desk clerk was friendly & attentive to us when we arrived a few hours early for check in. We were able to stow our luggage in the lobby and we were served a glass of wine and some chips to enjoy in the garden while our room was cleaned.
We stayed in room 3, upstairs with a huge balcony that overlooked the hotel garden, a bit of the town and had a sea view as well. Although we were only on Hydra for two nights, we did manage to enjoy our space both outdoors and inside.
The KingBed was very comfy, good pillows too. There's a nice antique wardrobe and dresser to use. Bathroom was functional, although missing a fan, there's a small window to open to allow steam to escape. Showerhead is up very high, about 6' so if you are not too tall it may make it difficult to adjust it. Hot water takes a minute or two, but great overall.
Good HVAC system. Mini fridge makes a bit a noise which can disturb light sleepers. I unplugged it one night. Nothing but water in the fridge so it was ok.
You pre select your breakfast items the night before, a mixture of cold continental style items and egg dishes - but no meats. Very tasty and service excellent.
If you don't have a lot of heavy luggage and pack light like we did, you can walk to the place in about 5-10 mins taking it slow as it is a slight uphill climb on cobblestones. There are donkeys to rent to carry you and your luggage but didn't inquire or know the price.
Lots of cats - we got a bag & walked around feeding a few dozen."

Very big saloon with good sea view. swimming pool area is connected to the private sea beach with access to the sea via private gate (just 3 meters). Very good location of the house, easy reachable, close to city Ermioni (just 12 minutes drive), very close to boats terminal location for visiting island Ydra. Very good communication with the management of the Villa, very good attention from the local personal.Generally, we suggest to everybody to stay and enjoy in this house.I with my family and friends are very often staying in areas around, but this one is the BEST."
