Portside Hotel
Awesome view watching a ship being loaded with NZ Radiata pine and also watching the kayaks and canoes racing. Room was clean and the service was excellent. Coffee machine on the first floor provided daily flat whites.

The Verandah at Gisborne
Warm and welcoming. Lovely comfy beds. We liked the indoor outdoor flow and gardens. Bathrooms functional but would be good to have a seperate toilet.
