Step Back in Time
Robert Morris Inn is a wonderful getaway. Staff is friendly and helpful. Even helped me with my luggage on the steps. The food is incredible. Artful and delicious. Oxford is a walkable village with interesting houses and right on the water on all sides.

Ants in room on first night. Only other available room was upstairs and had no attached bathroom. Had to go across the hall to bathroom. Previous guest's dirty underwear found in first room. Dirty socks from previous guest found in room 2. No other vacancies in area so stuck. They did credit us for one night.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway!
Robert Morris Inn was great! It's in a perfect location right on the water in Oxford! Excellent restaurant on site. Great history both for the hotel and for the town. Even though there have been many renovations over the years, it is still an old hotel and with that there might be some old hotel issues. But all in all, we loved our stay at Robert Morris Inn and our time in Oxford. Can't wait to go back.

Certainly not what expected.poor service. Great breakfast— must pay for it.air conditioner was very noisy and needed repair. Floors uneven. Could barely move around in bathroom.Towel rack missing. Lots of steps— not geared for older people

The property very old and historically interesting. This has several disadvantages, one being that there was no hot water and secondly small window mounted a/c units that are very noisy. The suite we were given was extremely small, the bedroom hardly big enough for the bed. The bathroom was small and primitive. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Restaurant and attached tavern both closed due to staff shortages.

Happy Anniversary
Our stay at the Robert Morris Inn was perfect. We had a suite on the third floor with a very comfy sleigh bed. Dining at the Inn is always a pleasure as the food and service is excellent.

Artist’s plein air paradise. Unique building full of history and charm in which you can stay very comfortably. Excellent dining, a great breakfast menu included with $20 per person credited. Peace and quiet and a fun ferry ride to St Michaels and back!

Charm on the water
We happened on this little hustoric hotel by happy chance and were delighted with our stay. The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful . The dinner and breakfast were amazing. If you prefer small ,old, and quirky to modern and bland we highly recommend this lovely inn.

The historical furnishings and decor is lovely. Almost all guestrooms are on the second and third floors. Visitors will mobility issues that cannot navigate a full flight of stairs may not be able to enjoy this location.

Oxford is a charming, quiet waterside town, and the Robert Morris Inn is the perfect place to unplug and relax. The innkeepers were wonderful and welcoming. The staff were all so pleasant.

This property is in a lovely location. It is a three story old building that needs updating. It is important to let people know that when reserving they will be put on an upper level room. We were given a third floor room even though I asked if it could be changed. This should be information upfront. Staff was friendly, especially in the restaurant.

It is very old & historic, consequently the sleeping area is very small. One side of the bed was too close to the wall (#4). The seating room was very nice & comfortable. Very goid breakfast. Being right next to the water was very pleasant.

Quiet, relaxing place to stay.
The quiet setting and cozy feel of the room along with the friendly staff made our stay here quite enjoyable. Our hope is to return to this Inn sometime in the spring when we can enjoy more of the town itself.

This is a quaint, very old place, so don't expect modern conveniences like a tv on the premises. It also may not have AC. For heat, there was a portable space heater. Fortunately, it was fall and not too cold. But more importantly...The hotel doesn't have hot water! Was told to let the water run, but after 10 minutes, never got above luke warm. Also, for complementary coffee, there is a poorly functioning, shared Kurik machine on each floor that doesn't always have water in its reservoir. On the plus side, food was great, especially breakfast. Our room rate included a $20 credit pp towards breakfast. But guests should know that restaurant doesn't open until around 8:30. So if you need to leave early, you won't get to eat. The breakfast was great, though, so sleep in and eat there! Even without hot water, experience was way better than a Hampton Inn. And the town is lovely. I'd definitely stay there again. But I might look into other B&B's in town first.

Mixed Experience.
The restaurant is excellent. The rooms and general condition of the Inn is very dated and tired. It needs a renovation. No maid service which is ok, but we were not told. No elevator so pack light. The Inn is in a fabulous location. Wry few extra touches but still a pleasant stay.

The Inn is a lovely old property with lots of character. The Tavern was closed so we were only able to have breakfast onsite. In addition the water was shut off for hours due to updating/maintenance but we were not informed that this would be happening during our stay. This meant no hot water for showers the next morning. That was a disappointment.

The ground floor public rooms were elegant and charming, but the room we stayed in was cramped. Glad it was just a one-night stay. The suite sloped in two directions - from the bathroom down through the sitting room and further down to the bedroom, with the head of the bed at the lowest point. It also sloped from the window toward the hall. And we were on the 3rd floor, so the ceiling sloped down toward the window. We didn't spend much time in the room, so it was okay, but not what we had hoped for.
