With the continued impacts of COVID-19  travelling today comes with more challenges than usual. Keep in mind the following tips before boarding your flight to Eastern Finland:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before locking in your flight. Also check if there are any requirements you'll have to follow on arrival, such as installing a contact tracing app.
• You're required to wear a face mask at the airport, including at security checkpoints. Be ready to adjust your mask for ID purposes when asked by a TSA employee.
• Instead of handing a TSA agent your boarding pass, place it directly on the reader yourself. After that, hold it up for inspection.
• TSA is now allowing passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on luggage. This will need to be removed from your bag to be screened.
• Put any personal items (e.g, keys, phone and coins) in your carry-on rather than a bin to minimize handling during screening.
• Separate any food you have for screening. Placing it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA employee to handle and inspect your belongings.
