Top Easter Island attractions for a relaxing vacation

Easter Island, famed for its mysterious Moai statues, presents a unique blend of adventure and relaxation for travellers seeking spa hotels. Begin your journey at Rano Raraku, the iconic volcanic crater that served as the quarry for many of the island's Moai; the breathtaking views and serene atmosphere provide a perfect backdrop for mindfulness and relaxation. Next, explore the stunning beaches of Anakena, where soft sands and azure waters invite you to unwind, perhaps with a soothing massage at a nearby spa resort. For a touch of culture, visit the archaeological site of Orongo, perched atop a cliff with spectacular ocean views, where you can immerse yourself in the island’s rich heritage while enjoying the invigorating sea breeze. Don't miss the opportunity to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters around the islet of Motu Nui, where vibrant marine life offers an exhilarating escape, followed by a restorative soak in a hot tub or spa bath at your hotel. The area of Hanga Roa, the island's main town, is particularly suited for your stay, featuring several luxury hotels that blend modern comforts with local charm, ensuring attentive service and pampering after a day of exploration.

Top Easter Island Hotel Reviews

Hare Nua

Hare Nua

10/10 Excellent
"My wife wrote this review as she loved the place so much. But I share her enthusiasm: The staff was really good, it felt like coming home to grandma’s house, as it is true to its name: Grandma’s house, where you are treated with kindness and love. The place has a family feeling. You can see the photos of the family in the main reception area. Maria and Javiera greeted us with warmth and explained the history of the house. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. As they only serve breakfast at Hare Nua, Maria recommended places to eat on the island and her recommendations did not disappoint. Oh! Talking about breakfast, it was amazing! Different food & fresh juices everyday. It was so perfect that it was the highlight of my day. The room was spacious and there was a balcony to sit outside. There is also a mezzanine lounge area where my husband and I could spend some time relaxing with a book. There is a lovely garden as well with a pool & jacuzzi. All in all it was a lovely hotel and if it was not so far away for us it would be our place to stay regularly!! We also booked an excursion with them and it was one of the best excursions we have had in our travels - the knowledgeable & engaging guide Vai clearly loves her island and has many stories about its people. If you are looking for a great place to stay while visiting this lovely island we highly recommend the Hare Nua. See pictures of bananas growing in the garden, the sea-view from our balcony & moái-shaped butter!"
