Beautiful 3 bedroom and 3 full bathroom vacation home. Just steps away from a large sandy Lake Huron beach! 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom, and 1 double-over-double bunk bedroom. Additional sleeping space in the lower level with a pullout queen sleeper sofa. Upper and lower decks with unobstructed views of the lake and gas grill on the upper deck off the kitchen for cooking. Walk out basement to the backyard with beautiful views and one of the most beautiful stretches of SANDY beach right on Lake Huron! End your evening with a campfire as you listen to the waves wash in. Just 4 miles from the restaurants/bars/shops of downtown East Tawas and 3 miles from Tawas Point State Park! Amazing biking trails, fishing, boat rentals, and golf courses nearby. The location is perfect!!! It's secluded but conveniently located right off of US-23 in case you need to enjoy everything that East Tawas has to offer! Perfect location for a beautiful fall stay with Lumberman's Monument a short drive away! Take in all of the fall colors that Northern Michigan has to offer!

We stayed two nights to go look at fall colors and hike the near by trails. Location right on the water was beautiful. I could see summer time with a family being a blast here. Kitchen was well stocked. We did not use the basement or laundry room, however that would be great for a week stay with kids to spread out.

Beautiful home on a private beach. Fall stay so no swimming, but the beach is a bonus! Kitchen well stocked. The back porch was great for morning sunrises and coffee. Had a wonderful time would definitely come back in the summer. The host was easy to communicate with. No issues during our stay.

We travel here to this home with a big group every year. We all have a blast. The yard is perfect for sports and for the kids to play, we are right on Lake Huron. The house is great to accommodate our group. The house has everything we need too, down to laundry and blankets. We can’t wait to come back again next year! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Perfect location & beautiful view

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The view was spectacular especially on the days we woke up in time to catch the sun rise. A beautiful place to stay to relax. We would definitely stay here again

Anniversary trip

Awesome stay, our dog loved the beach! House was perfect and had everything we needed. We watched the sunrise at the beach, which was gorgeous. The town was lovely, there were lots of great food options and lots of good shops. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful spot!

This place was the perfect escape for our family. It was big enough for the kiddos to explore and also had a beautiful yard leading out to the beach that was amazing for morning walks and sunsets. Everything was clean and the space was welcoming for all of us, even our pup. Thank you for the perfect Easter getaway!

Great location for a weekend getaway

We loved being lakefront and the property was great! It had everything we needed right down to salt and pepper. It was nice to not have to pack all the extra little things. House was clean but I feel it could benefit from a deep clean. Close to the downtown area where we had a lot of good eats.

Great place to stay

Easy check in, clean place. Lots of options to enjoy the company of those you’re with. Property is very quiet and a short walk to the lake. Kitchen is generously sized and well equipped. Covered porch on the lower level was great when it rained, and the rooftop deck was excellent for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. We’d stay here again. Thank you.

Great place to stay!

We loved the house, and the fact that there are 3 bathrooms for 10 women! The walk to the beach is a little long, especially for the older ones in our group, but a wagon was provided to help take our chairs and everything down. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were lots of folding chairs if needed for outside. This was our second time staying here, and we really enjoyed it!

Great house with sunrise view on Lake Huron

We had a great time, the host was very responsive and we had no issues checking in/out. The kitchen/living room, which is where you will spend most of your time while indoors, is newly renovated and has an amazing view of Lake Huron. The backyard is large and very well kept...and the beach is great!

Location and view

The view is beautiful! The weather outside was so cold! We spend most of our evening in the lower level by the fireplace. It was very cozy! This home is close to many hiking trails and town. There is something for everyone! We can’t wait to stay again next year!

Nice fall getaway!

We enjoyed our fall family getaway. Great location - close to trails, shopping and restaurants and right on Lake Huron. We had plenty of room and nice to have 3 full baths. It was very windy while we were there so we were unable to have a fire and smores. But other then that it was great.

Labor Day 2023

This was our second year in a row staying here for Labor Day weekend. We love the location and the house. It’s perfect for all of our kids. Beach is great. Good sized grass yard too. We had a couple of small problems and the owners responded very quickly and it was taken care of. Would definitely recommend. We will probably book again.

Loved this place

This large house is nicely furnished and decorated. We enjoyed having the option of sitting on the covered patio or the elevated open-air deck. The views of the lake were incredible, with amazing sunrises and so many brights stars at night. The location is perfect! The area is quiet and only a short drive to shopping and restaurants. We went on several scenic drives to places near the home such as Lumberman's Monument and Tawas Point Light Station. The beach (at the end of the backyard lawn) is clean and the water appears to be quite clear. We stayed here at the end of September so with the cooler temperatures we did not take advantage of the water toys or kayaks. We enjoyed everything about this property.

Beautiful beach

The property is located on a beautiful strip of sandy beach that is very quiet with clear, calm water perfect for children. There is also a large, grassy backyard that was great for playing games in the yard and bonfires for roasting marshmallows in the evening. We could not have asked for a more perfect outdoor setting. The inside of the house; however, left a lot to be desired. As other reviewers have stated, this house is not very clean. It appeared that the cleaning crew had not swept the floors and the countertops in the kitchen had not even been wiped down. The window AC unit in the master bedroom was growing black mold. This property is in need of a DEEP clean in the off season.

Lake Huron Getaway

We loved the location - quiet neighborhood, beautiful view, very convenient. Overall it was a great place. We questioned the cleaning service. The King bed had only a fitted sheet that appeared slept on. We pulled it off and just remade the entire bed. There were no towels in the bathrooms, but maybe that's the way it is and of course we found them. No toilet paper in the downstairs bath. The glasses didn't look clean. All easy fixes. A strong gas smell was emitted when we tried to turn on the oven (we quickly turned it off). This is concerning! The communication with the host was easy and prompt.

This was a wonderful location for our family and dog to stay. The home was beautiful and the beach was lovely as well. It is quite a hike to the beach but there was a handy wagon there for our stay that we used to take things out to the beach.
