Coffee machine standard in room, however kettle was an additional charge. Nice soaps and conditioners provided. Parking easy. No lift access.

The staff of this hotel were absolutely amazing - they helped with changing my booking following my father passing away. They also recommended a restaurant we could eat in (PackHus), as not much is open in the Hofn area at the time of year we went (early March).

Perfect location. Very quiet. Close to the best restaurants but most are closed in winter. Good to be aware. Only 3 were open during the Christmas - New Year period.

Out of 9 different hotels I stayed in during my Iceland trip this was easily the poorest one. Needed to stay in Hofn for a night and this looked like one of the nicest but don’t be fooled by the photos. Lobby is updated but that’s it, the hallways were dated. My room had no towels and no drinking glasses to drink water or brush teeth. No phone on the room to call reception and I had to go to the front desk to get towels and glasses. No lift and no tv in the room. They were doing renovations so perhaps it would be better after, however potential customers should have been informed if basic amenities were lacking. Just not to up to par. The location was good right on the water and in the middle of Hofn.

I booked this hotel for my last night in Iceland. We were able to watch a beautiful sunset and sunrise from the windows without having to stand out in the cold. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was a great, last night in a beautiful country.

Pretty good; staff was great. Building needs a few interior repairs like the carpet and some of the hall lights didn’t work making it difficult to see at night. Breakfast was very good and had a wide array of options.

Very clean, ideal location and close to restaurants, friendly, helpful staff, etc. We were very comfortable and were able to catch the northern lights there!

It good but pricey.
I don’t understand the value proposition here. The hotel is fine but expensive. The room is fine but not incredible for the price. The breakfast was good but not remarkable. The staff was lovely. Clearly, they took an older property and gave it a facelift.

Great place to stay

The staff is very friendly and efficient! He also helped us to find an electric plug adapter, since we forgot to bring an international converter with us! The facilitate is simple but provide just right atmosphere and amenities! Great experience!

Hofn is a convenient stop on the journey around the ring road. The check-in staff was very pleasant, and the room was nice. While we were there a large storm passed thru, closing most roads and the staff was helpful. Good selection at the breakfast option.

This is a beautiful hotel with a really nice cozy lobby. We were stuck in Hofn due to severe windstorm and road 1 was closed in both directions. They let us check in early and the next day when the road was still closed they let us stay in the room until 1400 when the road opened. Great place and if we come back to Iceland we will definitely stay here.

Staff was friendly and room was nice. On a cold evening it would be nice if the bar (or bartender) knew how to make a warm or hot cocktail. An Irish Coffee is just coffee and Irish Whiskey but the bartender said he could not make one.

Lovely spot in Hofn.
Great hotel in a lovely location. Room 201 on the 1st floor had a great view of the harbour. Everything felt new and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Recommended if in Hofn.
