"We spent two weeks here in the winter. It was a much-needed retreat away from the city. We spent the morning sipping coffee before the beautiful stone fireplace, afternoons in the sauna, and evenings grilling. The cabin was fully equipped with extra towels and blankets, and games. "Had booked wrong days by accident,/with Expedia. They were full on Regular rooms. But kind as they are the gave us a deal. and put us in a Cottage for $50.00 for the two nights. Way out of their way to get us a room for two nights, I was upgrade to a cottage, 3 bedrooms ,fireplace, and 2 levels. Way to generous, They said they were MN nice, and go out of their way to please."

"We really enjoyed it. Great proximity to the lake, and really comfortable for the five of us. The only suggestion is to either push up the check in time or push back the check out time. Having a 4pm check in, combined with a 10am check out, essentially wipes out a full day that could be enjoyed on the lake on either end. "CUTE, RUSTIC AND lodge like. The rooms are simple..but have everyting you need. Bed was comforable..pillows were a bit flat but they give you two so that's nice. Staff was great.. we needed to leave early due to weather and they refunded the last night. Coffee pot in room. You can cook waffles if you want for breakfast. Pool was being repaired but looks nice. Saw 4 deer run through the property one morning. Walking distance to town square..near some very good restaurants..try the Walleye...
