"Perhaps the best thing was the location in the proximity of Glaciar National Park.
For a half of the paid price it would be a decent one night stay albeit not a comfortable one.
We had a room #10 in the main building, looking much better inside than outside.
Everything was very clean and kind of nice.
Our bathroom was pretty spacious, with a small shower cabin and a non-functioning bathtub. There were a few shelves (very convenient) and only a single towelbar and one hook for towels. Inconvenient, though pretty common.
The room was rather small, with a queen bad, one nightstand with a lamp, one chair and a drawer. No place for a suitcase. There was also minifridge, microwave, coffee machine and TV.
The only available AC socket I found was near the floor, so one charger at a time. WiFi was ok."
"Cabin was excellent. It was attractive, clean and very well supplied with everything you could need to spend time away from home. There is a washer n dryer available without extra costs. There was enough basic supplies in kitchen and bathroom, no need to pack extras for staying in a cabin. Rustic and cozy. Small private overall environment which is very convenient to Glacier National Park and other nearby activities."
"I called at least 3 times before our arrival because we would be arriving by Amtrak train after 10:00 pm. Each time I was told I would receive a text or email giving me check in instructions. I was told also that it would be an easy 15 minute walk to the cabin. I never received instructions and worried for hours since our train was delayed 3 hours and did not arrive at West Glacier until after midnight. I had no idea how or if we would would get into the cabin!!! The walk was fine until we had to turn left towards the RV/Cabin Park. It was pitch black-no signs. This along with not knowing if we would have access made those hours extremely stressful. I am almost 70 years old traveling with my 3 teenage grandchildren. I should have been told the truth each time I called-there would be instructions at the main office; the walk would be good but very dark when we turned off the main road-bring flashlights (we did bring headlamps just in case).
The cabin was fantastic! We enjoyed the place. 2 bedrooms-queen bed/bunk beds. 2 bathrooms-one full/one 1/2 bath. Full kitchen(no oven but had a dishwasher). Beautiful area surrounded by mountains. Most business within 5 minute walk-minigolf, restaurants, Glacier Raft Company, stores, walk to river/bridge 5 minutes.
We went early June so no transportation except for walking. Scenic raft trip was great-it rained but they provided wet suits/boots/jackets. We walked to Apgar village on the trail-no bears but next time bring/rent bear spray."
"This is clearly the best choice if you find yourself in Browning and need a place to stay. We had a few issues that we didn't bring to the attention of the staff due to time constraints. The A/C unit sounded like a lawnmower and couldn't be set to continuous fan. So, you had to choose just turning it off and the room temperature just being uncomfortable or have it come on with the thermostat and wake you up like a weed wacker starting up next to you. Also, the towels probably could use a little quality control as several were stained and probably should be removed from the guest rotation. Breakfast was a common offering if you are accustomed to Hampton/Holiday Inn Express/La Quinta. The attached casino is all video slots with a few three reel options."
"The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, the bathrooms desperately need upgraded and offer no counter space. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. The dining room was very nice but very overpriced for the food received. It is also difficult to have no mini fridge or microwave if you don’t plan ahead or want to pay the high food prices as the lodge."
"These little cabins were so cute. The WiFi was having issues BUT the owner was there working hard at maintaining it. This wasn’t an issue as we were there to enjoy Glacier and unplug a bit. The town itself was small with little offerings but the food truck down the road had THE best smash burgers. Definitely don’t miss out on those."
Charming 1-bedroom cottage in tranquil East Glacier Park with WiFi, AC
10/10 Excellent
"Everything about this place was great! It’s a 2 minute drive to town where there are numerous places to eat and 15 minutes to the Two Medicine Entrance to Glacier National Park. Robin and Jodi were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The cabin is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. I would definitely stay there again."
