"Tide's End is a very nice house in a beautiful setting. We had a wonderful family vacation here. My daughter and I spent a few days scuba diving with "Reef Divers" while the rest of the family was perfectly content relaxing at the house (usually in the pool) enjoying the fantastic Caribbean views. "Derwin" (the property manager) met us at the airport, escorted us to the property, and made sure we were familiar with all the features of the home before leaving us to settle in. The facility was very clean and well kept, the communication was easy, and the added touch of personally greeting us at the airport was over the top. We have stayed in many VRBOs over the years and never had that experience. We can highly recommend Tide's End."
Snorkelers & Divers Paradise-Cayman Brac-2 Bedroom On Beach With Deck
10/10 Excellent
"Wow! What a great place! We had a wonderful stay at this property. The unit was comfortable with great air conditioning, easy parking, and a relaxing water-front deck. The snorkeling out front was good, and the island’s snorkeling overall was amazing. Out front, we saw lobster, conch, barracuda, 2 kinds of rays, lionfish, grouper, shark, loads of fish… Though the unit is part of a very small group (6-8?), we were the only ones on the beach or in the water 99% of the time. We were met at the airport, where we rented a car and were led back to the unit, which took ALL stress out of checking in. Watching the moon-rise from the deck was magical. We had one surprising evening when we turned on the lights to find loads of crabs all around. Stopped at Maui’s Island Cuisine and had the best fish and coconut shrimp ever on our way to NIM store where we had a lovely visit with Tenson Scott and Ms. Starrie. Bottom line, Cayman Brac is a treasure and this unit is too. Book it!!"
Incredible Views, Waterfront Luxury Private Villa with Central AC
10/10 Excellent
"We had the most incredible stay at Coral Beach Villa which completely exceeded our expectations. Cayman Brac is known for its peaceful, laid back charm, and this property embodies that perfectly. Immaculate , spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a flawless stay.My daughter, granddaughter and I wanted to take a girls trip and my granddaughter wanted to obtain her PADI Certification while there. Coral Beach Villa was the perfect home base for all our Cayman Brac adventures. Whether you spent the day diving, snorkeling hiking, or exploring the island's famous caves, coming back to this beautiful property was a dream. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub while taking in the beautiful ocean views.Joy was communicative, welcoming and full of great local recommendations for diving, snorkeling, dining and island exploration."
"Everything was great, especially our hostess Lynne. We arrived on a Sunday when all the stores are closed. Lynne offered to pickup groceries for Monday breakfast. (Divers are gone before the stores open!) The villa is cute, cozy and quiet."
"Wow. My wife and I had the most incredible week at Paradise Found. It was exactly what we wanted for a 20 year anniversary trip. Profoundly quiet, private, and comfortable. We rarely saw another person unless we drove to get groceries or check out a restaurant. Just hours alone with each other by the pool, snorkeling out back, having drinks on the deck. Absolutely magical -- made me long for heaven!"
Sonscape's Cozy 1-Bdr 1-Bath Private Guest Suite Opens Right Onto the Beach!
8/10 Good
"Great location being so close to the airport and the property manager is incredible! Easy to contact and helpful. The property has its own beachfront (and conveniently the property to its right is also owned by the same person so if you needed have a larger grouping you should be able to if available)The place is basic, so don’t expect high end products but it’s perfect in all other waysIf you’re a sensitive/lightweight sleeper the A/C Unit isn’t quiet"
The best area to stay in East End, Cayman Brac, is the easternmost tip of the district, particularly around the lighthouse and the scenic bluff.
This area is primarily known for its tranquil environment and stunning natural beauty. It's characterised by the dramatic limestone bluff that runs along the northern coast, culminating in the iconic lighthouse at the eastern point. The roads here are quiet, and properties often boast direct access to the sea or panoramic views.
Couples seeking a peaceful retreat will find this area ideal. The secluded nature of the East End provides a great backdrop for relaxation, with opportunities for quiet walks along the bluff or simply enjoying the ocean breezes from a private balcony. It's a place to unwind and reconnect, away from any hustle and bustle.
For those interested in outdoor activities, particularly diving and hiking, the East End is a fantastic base. The bluff offers numerous trails with breathtaking vistas, and many dive sites are easily accessible from this part of the island.
When is the best time to go to East End?
The best time to go to East End is during the dry season, which runs from December to April, offering the most pleasant weather for your visit.
During these months, you can expect plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 24°C to 29°C (75°F to 85°F). This period avoids the higher humidity and increased chance of rain and tropical storms that characterise the wet season (May to November). For those looking to make the most of outdoor activities like diving, snorkelling, or hiking the Bluff, these drier, cooler conditions are ideal.
Couples seeking a relaxing getaway will appreciate the consistently good weather during this time. You can enjoy long days on the beach, explore the island's natural beauty, or simply unwind by the pool without concerns about sudden downpours. The calm seas during these months are also great for boat trips and water sports.
Solo travellers looking for adventure will find the dry season excellent for exploring. The trails up the Bluff are more accessible, and visibility for diving and snorkelling is typically at its best.
