"My husband and I came here right after our wedding in Charlottesville to spend a few days away with our dogs and unwind. Safe to say that our dogs would have preferred we move in! We really enjoyed our time here and took the kayaks out several times with our dogs swimming alongside us or racing on the banks of the creek. "A cute little cabin in a good location for our needs. Many things to do all over the place from the cabin. There is road noise both from Interstate 64 and from Midland Trail on both sides of the property, but it wasn't bothersome. To sleep and in the evenings was the only time spent at the cabin, so much to see around the area. Overall, we had a very nice six night stay."

"This cute and rustic cabin is close to town but feels very private and secluded. The cabin was adorably decorated and clean. Thoughtful touches were abundant throughout. "We throughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin, though primitive, did offer four folding chairs, firewood, some cooking supplies, inside table and chairs, and a nice bed. We enjoyed cooking over the open fire, fishing at the river, and enjoying nature's beauty! The porta-potties (2) were clean and had tissue and hand sanitizer. It was great there were solar lights (2) inside the cabin, and one as a porch light. We drove less than 1/2 hour to VA Mountain Vineyards and had a wonderful time with a glass...
