"We stayed one night…I had oral surgery and dealing with pain and could only sleep sitting up…so I made the reservation with that in mind so booked a room with a recliner…and asked if we could be on the top floor end of hall not close to elevator so not to hear all the foot traffic go by our room while I would be recovering that night. I called the day before arriving and confirmed my reservation and request and was told everything was good. So when we checked in at 3:30 I thought I was getting what had booked and requested…I received a room on 2nd floor not top floor and room was 1st room off the elevator…I asked the clerk if that room had the recliner and she said no…I told her what I had booked and she read my request and booking and asked someone in the office about it…she then gave me a room one down from the 1st room …still not top floor or down the hall…she said that was all they had…I told her about checking in the day before and was told all was good. She said that was all she could do…I took it cuz I really needed a recliner to sleep in that night. The room was very nice and clean and the recliner was very comfortable to sleep in and was in excellent condition so I was very happy with the room! The room had a stove, microwave and full size fridge with ice maker…which we loved didn’t have to go look for ice machine in a hallway especially with for my pain! The hotel was in good condition and nice to have a laundry room…close to many restaurants and shops."

"This was my second experience at the Riverside Hotel in Boise and they exceeded my expectations and first experience from a few years ago. From the shuttle to the front desk to the rooms, grounds and amenities. It was all a first class experience and whenever in Boise, I will stay at the Riverside!"

"The staff was very helpful (check in, valet, bar). The food in the bar was excellent as were the Old Fashioned's. They had passes for a nearby gym which was small but well appointed. It's in a great location with a small bodega across the street and a really good breakfast spot nearby (A Cafe). We took an hour-long walk from there to the river, so it's in a fun spot for exploring."
