"Like the other Welcome Hotel in Bamberg the buffet breakfast is understanding with a great range of German breads and rolls. cheese, cold meats, hot bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs, cereals including Birckenmüsli etc etc. The breakfast room faces directly onto the river Regnitz which is very picturesque. The staff are really friendly and helpful both with me and my teen children! It’s only a short walk to the centre of town, or along the river to the Old Town and Cathedral. "I would give 10 from 10 mark... But there is one huge disadvantage - the suite we had was something like 3 or 4 floor, and the last one with a spiral case... So if you have a problem with your back or foot, or have a luggage, avoided it. But it is clean, fantastic location, very comfy bed, good kitchenette... Strangely enough the shower has no door and all the water coming out... "
