"This was my second stay at Skepparholmen and I can’t recommend it enough. The food, the scenery and lovely service by Wåge and Andrey made for a wonderful stay. We hope to visit soon again!"
"Really enjoyed the property. I honestly didn’t like to have to pay extra to use the outdoor pool. The breakfasts were amazing and staff were helpful and kind. The Swedish countryside is picturesque."
"Is a unique B&B. The ferry going back and forth to Vaxholm is convenient, although would be good if people staying in the B&B didn’t have to pay to leave the island. "
"Lina was the most fabulous hostess. Beautiful breakfast options each day, delightful conversation and the most genuinely kind person ever. Would stay again and again. Felt like home."
"Perfect place for a one night stay while traveling from Chicago to The Åland Islands. Lovely quiet hotel (near active pedestrian area but windows were well insulated so we heard little of the passerby’s outside), plenty of dining options and shopping nearby, beautiful walking path along the water and through town. "Front desk was helpful, they don't clean your room for a week but we were there for 3 days so was ok. You have to takr the trash out. I didn't mind it. Overall a good place clean spacious place to stay. "
"The promo for this hotel on Expedia was very misleading. We wanted to stay on or near Vaxholm. This hotel ad claims to be right near Vaxholm but it is nowhere near it, unless maybe you have private transportation We paid for the room at a non refundable rate . It is hard to get to Vaxholm from this hotel without a car. We therefore could not stay at the hotel. In fact, we immediately realized that as soon as we made the reservation and called the hotel and contacted Expedia but Expedia said the hotel will not refund the reservation money,.even though we explained the problem within minutes of making the reservation. Beware."
