"My family and I had a wonderful two night stay at the Lake Inn Ballarat. We were very happy with our clean and spacious room, which included a convenient microwave we didn't even know we needed till we did. They also provided a cot for our entire stay for just $20. A major highlight was the attached City Oval Hotel, the food and drinks were excellent, making it incredibly convenient for dinner.
The only minor drawback was that the hot water in the shower wasn't as hot as we would have liked.
Overall, we had a very positive experience and highly recommend it for families."
"This is by far the most comfortable and well set up place of accommodation I have ever stayed in. Had toaster kettle, bar fridge & microwave which was great. Heating worked & electric blanket was lovely. Bed was comfortable & blankets warm enough. Parking right outside room made it easy to unpack & pack up. Didn’t use pool but kids would love it all year round. I will be back for another stay when running in a race again. "
