Close to central train station but otherwise not a great location. Lots of homeless and drug addicts lingering around the immediate area. Basic room, terrible shower, needs major update. Staff is great; super friendly, energetic and helpful. Really good bar.

This was a great stay for our one night in Duesseldorf. Everything was very clean and staff were great. Rooms are uniquely decorated with comfortable beds. Would certainly stay here again!

Great hotel close to the main train station. Loved the design of the lobby and room. Very original! Staff was super friendly. I appreciated the extra amenities in the room like a straightening iron. Would definitely stay there again!

Hotel bar is excellent. The room was on the shabby chic end of the scale & very hot! Noise of other guests talking loudly didn’t help for restful night’s sleep. Convenient for the station

Ein toller Aufenthalt

Das zweite Mal hier im Friends und auch diesmal wieder mega gewesen. Frühstück super viel Auswahl und durch mein Upgrade hatte ich ein super Zimmer im 6. Stock mit Balkon. Alle Mitarbeiter total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Danke an alle und bis bald denn alle guten Dinge sind ja bekanntlich drei.

Endroit magnifique, décor original, menu coktail super intéressant et très bon. l’hotel est quasi un musé en soi j’aurais voulu voir toute les chambres ! Vraiment bien réussi !

Great stay at the centrally located hotel.

The hotel has interesting décor and each room has its own unique style. Ours was based around the Rolling Stones. The ground floor has the feel of a high end hostel and has a nice bar for a quiet/casual drink. Our room was a good size, with a separate room with a desk and sofa, which was useful for remote working. It is around a 15 minute walk to the centre of Old Town where the majority of bars and restaurants are. Negatives were: bathroom was slightly cramped, no safe in the room for valuables, and still using a key for entry to the rooms rather than a card. Would happily stay again.

Es war ein Versuch wert, mehr aber auch nicht. Schöne Bilder auf den Booking Plattformen, aber die Realität ist dann nichtsahnend, was die versprechen. Nett sind sie hier, das steht ausser Frage. Was die Arbeitsprozesse beim externen Reinigungspersonal angeht, ist noch sehr viel Potential zur Verbesserung vorhanden.

Unser Wohlfühlhotel. Keine 08/15 Zimmer, bestes Frühstück, herzliches Personal, spannend für Kinder (Kicker, Spiele, Comics,...), zentrale Lage,... Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Für Städtetrip ok.

Für einen kurzen Städtetrip nach Düsseldorf haben wir uns nach passenden Hotels in der City umgeschaut. Viele Hotels hatten aufgrund der Pandemie noch geschlossen oder nur für Geschäftsleute geöffnet. Schließlich entschieden wir uns für das Hotel Friends. Positiv: Freundliches Personal und fairer Preis Negativ: Zustand, Ausstattung und Umgebung des Hotels hatten kein 4-Sterne-Level.

Staub und Dreck

Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen, leider wurde die Freude sofort mit Zutritt des Zimmers getrübt. Der Lampenschirm, konnte man auf den ersten Blick erkennen, war komplett verstaubt, ebenso das Fensterbrett sowie die Ablage im Schrank in die wir unsere Sachen verstaut haben. Nachdem ich mich in den Sessel gesetzt habe konnte ich mich erstmal umziehen, auch dieser war staubig. Die Griffe von den Nachttischen waren kaputt und /oder nicht vorhanden. Die Fernbedienung vom Fernseher war verdreckt und der Teppich hat nicht definierbare Flecken. Die reservierten Fahrräder standen nicht zur Verfügung. Die Frühstückseier vom Sonntag waren die vom Samstag, die nicht gegessen wurden.

Peccato per la zona

Una bomboniera, carinissimo e personale davvero molto molto gentile. Peccato solo che sia in una zona piuttosto bruttina, vicino alla stazione centrale e quindi fuori non c'è proprio della bella gente. Ma con una piccola camminata arrivi in centro. Camere calde e comode e pulite (anche se odio la moquette e lì ce n'è in quantità), ma bagno pulito e biancheria anche. Molto carina la zona della reception e del bar con un sacco di intrattenimenti se ti vuoi fermare la sera

Die vielen Details in diesem Themenhotel. Das Hotel ist in verschiedene Themenbereiche aufgebaut, was sehr speziell war, im Vergleich zu anderen „normalen“ Hotels. Feines Frühstücksbüffet. Schöne, originelle Zimmer.

Eher "bessere" Jugendherberge anstatt Hotel

Das Zimmer war etwas "creepy" eingerichtet, die Gründer hingen in einem Bild groß an der Wand. Die Bettmatratze war bereits etwas "ausgelegen". Insgesamt machte das Zimmer keinen allzu sauberen Eindruck.
