"Effectivement c'est très calme , à part les cigales bien sûr . Il fait chaud aussi . La piscine est assez grande et entretenue tous les 3-4 jours par Mr et Mme Lions qui habitent à 200m . Le logement est spacieux et le billard américain au RDC est appréciable . Pour les 3 chambres : 6 personnes max , idéalement 4 ."

There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. "The property is approx 3km away from the location shown on the VRBO map, so this needs altering. Initial communication was ok, however we were met at the property by a not so good English speaking lady who very briefly showed us around. No instructions whatsoever for Wifi, appliances, etc, tried calling number that was left, turned out this person was away, luckily had number for the owner who also spoke little English so literally had to fend for ourselves. The fridge was on its warmest...

"I liked the location a lot! Easy to get around as the immediate area is very flat. Would be good for disabled travelers. I didn’t see any kids at the hotel but would be fine for them too. The service was generally good. However, I observed a customer complaining about something and the manager put it back on the customer. Total gaslighting. It was a reasonable complaint. Also sometimes the food was missing ingredients like avocado but the staff won’t tell you they didn’t have everything on the menu. They seemed to be doing the best they could with what they had to work with. "

"Everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive. The Chateau looks amazing on arrival and even more so in the evening. It has a fabulous pool area and the views over the surround countryside are stunning. Our room was lovely which also had amazing views. There is parking on site and we had breakfast booked which was good. The village is a stones throw and definitely worth going to visit. "
