I wish more hotels made it as easy to check in. Bartender is just downstairs and breakfast was simple but amazing. Everything was fresh and local. If you are in Durango, you won’t regret staying at the Rochester.

I'm a big fan of The Rochester. The rooms were decorated really well. The bed and pillows were amazing. I would recommend the hotel for the bed alone.

This was not at all what we thought it would be--an historic hotel.,The bar in the lobby area is very cool but that is about the only cool thing about it. At $350 a night it was ridiculously over-priced. The cable tv worked almost none at all.
