"Beautiful views! So nice that have elevators for luggage too. Although elevators a little confusing as you need to exit one set and walk to another set of elevators. Dining was very good especially the breakfast. Live singer in the onsite restaurant in the evening. Very good stay!"

Castle Hotel Macroom

8/10 Good
"This is a popular hotel and used by the local population for food and drink as well. Excellent staff and rooms are very nice. Anything that you require if not in the room such as an iron is soon provided. A car park at the rear is sign posted from the main road. There are a few steps but ask the staff and they will assist with wheelchairs via a function room. Otherwise step free access is from the front. Only gripe is that we specifically picked this hotel because it had a pool. No notification was given that it was closed for planned maintenwere until we arrived. Being outside of the free cancellation window and could change our booking."
