Cozy cottage on our private lake and 75 wooded acres

Experience FARM LIFE on the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee! Enjoy waking up in our 650sq ft, open floor plan cottage with a wood burning flame view stove, on our homestead with a large private Mountain Lake and 77 wooded acres to hike and enjoy! We have seasonal flowers such as daffodils, peonies, lavender, dahlias and more. We also have on the farm a variety of Farm Animals (chickens, turkeys, peacocks, geese, horses, dogs, cats and 1 pig) that love interacting with visitors.
Our private lake is available for catch and release fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking. There is a propane grill for your use.
Other nearby sites include historic Chattanooga, Tennessee Aquarium, beautiful Rock City Gardens and Ruby Falls attractions along with several local state parks with waterfalls at Fall Creek Falls , Savage Gulf and Rock Island State Parks for further Tennessee exploration. Please be aware that security cameras monitor the adjacent exterior perimeter of the cabin.

Anniversary getaway

Wonderful cabin, excellent host!

This was an amazing getaway weekend and the place was exactly what we needed! Beautiful property was a dream and the dogs were the best company, they were the sweetest! Cannot wait to come back and enjoy more time here.

Amazing!

The property was beautiful! Everything was just as it listed. The bed was a little firm for my wife but other than that no complaints! Owners were very friendly and didn’t bother us at all on the stay unless we messaged them first .

The perfect getaway

I wanted a cozy place to unplug and unwind before starting a new job and this stay did not disappoint! Bring sunscreen because you'll want to spend all your time outside. We hiked, fished, canoed, and spent lots of time petting the animals. It was glorious!

An amazing place!

Such an amazingly cozy place! I loved the scenery, their dogs and enjoyed doing absolutely nothing. A beautifully quiet farm with a small lake. It was amazing.

Like coming home

We're regulars at this property. It's our 'get away from it all' place. Great hiking in this area but we also love being at the property. The hosts are wonderful! Very peaceful stay.

Great relaxing stay

This was our second visit to this location, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The property is beautiful and the farm has many cute, fun animals to watch and interact with. There is no TV, which is great for connecting, but bring games or books in case it rains. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen has everything you need to make meals.

Great get away

Great place to stay for a quite, relaxing get away from all the hustle n bussel of a tourist place. I liked the animals being there, as i was raised on a farm. The fur babies were entertaining. I plan on a future visit.

Perfect country setting for two

Absolutely wonderful! If you are looking for a cabin in the country this is it. View the lake from your rocking chairs on the porch. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was nicely decorated for fall. It felt very cozy.

Relaxation at its finest

We were very happy with the location/isolation of the property. The wife was able to catch several fish, i was able to kayak around the lake, and we both enjoyed just being able to disconnect from everyone for a few days! The shower may be an issue for a bigger person, but other than that, definitely would recommend for getaeay/recharge.
