"We came for a 4 day mini break to Edinburgh. The hotel is next door to Edinburgh Zoo. Catch the 100 Airport bus, Stand A: it is about 15minutes by bus to the hotel. To go to Princes Street in the city centre bus 26/31 is right outside the hotel & about a 15minutes trip. An Open day ticket for bus/tram £6pp. The hotel is very convenient with excellent very friendly helpful staff, without exception! Rooms are clean & airy. Food is excellent. Breakfasts £12.50 if booked the day before, £16 on the day otherwise. There is a gym, pool, jacuzzi & sauna. Towels are provided. This area is spotless. We used all var the gym, which looked well equipped. Position wise it is very accessible for the city centre, airport, zoo & Murrayfield. We were delighted with our choice of hotel & would definitely return here if we come to Edinburgh again."

"The Apex in Grass market is a perfect location for the Castle, Old Town, Royal Mile and loads of restaurants, cafes and pubs. The staff were brilliant and not just one but everyone that dealt with us over the week. They were accommodating and very pleasant. Facilities included a spa and very clean swimming pool. I seriously can't recommend this hotel highly enough."

"Decent enough hotel for a overnight stop and 10 mins walk to terminal.Get to hotel early enough and get bus from outside door and get to and from Edinburgh for a pre night out."

"We had a lovely stay in the Hotel,it was close to the City & amenity,our room overlooked the Hills,and the staff were very friendly & helpful.I will definitely be using this Hotel when we come a next year as we hope too."
