This special upstairs apartment is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. My husband and I have been enjoying hosting people from different countries for a couple of years and now are excited to open this newly renovated property for families and groups of up to 7 people.

Great Place to stay

A group of Friends and I stayed at this property for a week for the University of Otago open days and all I have to day is that it was wonderful. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the Octagon. The AC worked well, keeping us warm when we needed it and everything else great as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. The stairs are not difficult as someone else mentioned. The single room is through a curtain connected to the lounge. The location is central and it had everything we needed, though I won’t be taking the shower home with me.

Photos were misleading, the house was very cold and old, didn’t realise how steep stairs were as booked with my elderly parents, not enough seating to be comfortable for full house, water pressure is a dribble in the shower, no instructions on what to do with rubbish, good location and convenient parking, probably better for a young family

Great location.

Very steep stairs. We used the pull out couch ad well which left very little room for communal living. Would recommend not using vouch. Very uncomfortable but bed were okliving

2flights of Stairs to apartment . Not suitable for older people.. Getting luggage up stairs not easy as narrow and steep so we opted to leave them at bottom of stairs, apart from stairs everything else was fine.
