Perfect Getaway
We had a peaceful relaxing weekend in this beautiful home in a beautiful area. Conveniently located near shopping and dining and surrounded by rolling countryscapes. The home is beautifully welcoming and amazingly clean. The owners have thought of every little detail. This is our second year in this property and will book again for next fall.

Perfect Birthday Stay
The cottage was beautiful and we had a wonderful experience. My mother and I stayed to celebrate my birthday and to do some shopping in Amish country. When we arrived, in addition to the lovely snacks they had left me a birthday cake. The housekeepers had also left me a bote wishing me a happy birthday, so sweet! Everything was so clean and decorated beautifully. It was so nice to relax that we didn't even want to leave in the morning. And the hot tub was wonderful! I highly recommend staying here and we will be back for sure!

We had the most enjoyable time in this cottage! It was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas! The cottage had anything that you would need to make your stay comfortable and inviting! The host, paid attention to every detail and she went above and beyond to make our stay the best! Highly recommend staying here! We always have our favorite stops in Berlin, charm, sugarcreek and Walnut Creek ! Many favorite restaurants too!

Like a Hallmark movie
This adorable cottage felt like we were in a Hallmark movie with its picturesque location including rolling hills, woods and a creek as well the lovely decor! It was pristinely clean, a 10-15 min drive of most things to do in the area, and it was absolutely the perfect home for our Cousin’s weekend! The hot tub and fire pit were nice bonuses too. We’re hoping to bring our spouses back for a stay in the future.

Our cabin was beautiful and had everything you could ask for and our host was thankfully VERY on the spot for us every time I needed her, as for VRBO not so much till we were a few hours away from our destination, after MUCH emailing . Received no address or code as we should have in a timely manner . Very discouraging.

We came from Northwest Ohio for a weekend getaway to Holmes County. The location was perfect & not far from all the “hot” spots. We arrived at the house & loved the outside. Once inside the house was immaculate. Very clean; decorated & felt like our home away from home. The king size bed was very comfy. Bathroom & kitchen were spotless. Living room furniture was in e cells t condition & blankets were proved to snuggle up to the gas fireplace. Deck out back was clean & so was the hot tub. Chairs & swing was waiting for us on the front porch but the weather was too cold to sit outside & enjoy the amazing view. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you for an enjoyable weekend in Holmes County. OUR MOST FAVORITE GETAWAY
My husband and I came here to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. What a treasure we found in the Woodland Cottage! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will def stay another night next time so that we can just enjoy the cottage: the serenity, peace, beauty, cleanliness, front porch, back deck w/ hot tub, comfort in the cottage. We had planned to spend our full day exploring the area, shops, restaurants and Amish Country Theatre. We were enjoying the cottage and front porch so well that we didn't leave until almost 2:00 pm! But don't regret one minute of our time spent there. This will be our highest recommendation to friends & family and we will def return! Fire wood, cinnamon rolls, cozy bedding, homemade bread, Christmas lights on the fireplace mantle, all made us feel so welcome and spoiled from the minute we entered as well as the front porch w/ swing and rockers! Well done with this treasure!

Relaxing and beautiful
We stayed 2 nights for Amish Country and Prairie Peddler shopping. The location was perfectly accessible to shopping, just a few minutes from popular shops and restaurants. The cottage was beautifully decorated, tranquil and relaxing, and had all the conveniences of a high end hotel. The hot tub was wonderful and private. The surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful and quiet. We slept well on a comfortable bed, and enjoyed some football on the satellite cable tv's (the couch was also amazingly comfortable!) All the details of hospitality were thought of.
I rec'd clear, helpful communications regarding finding and accessing the cottage. We would definitely stay again. If you stay, try Park Street Pizza - the yummiest pizza I've ever had!

Woodland Cottage was a pleasant place to get away! The location was great and it was not far from all the things we wanted to visit! The snacks left for us were very appreciated and the cottage was very clean and had everything we needed! Highly recommend this cottage as a rental to anyone!
