"This was a well located and appointed flat. We didn’t realize the intersection was so busy. But happy to report like others have, we had silence each night, just in time for for sleeping at night. :) the beds are comfy. Be prepared to busy some of your own spices if you plan to cook.We had really timely response and support from Fraser and Ben and their team! Recommend this property, ease of parking nearby and convenient location for all you want to see in Stirling!"

"Communicated a number of issues with my one night stay to Hotels.com and the property did not respond to these issues.
Issues mainly around the following:
numerous large dirty carpet stains throughout apartment;
toiletries of previous guests in bathroom (including toothpaste, shower gel, deodorant and hair spray);
cardboard and sticky tape used to secure pipes in bathroom;
various damage to furnishing including hole in blind and faulty blinds which could not be pulled up;
dirty stains on...

"Very centrally located in city centre, everything you need on hand. Staff friendly and efficient. Price paid for bed and breakfast very reasonable. Would definitely return."
"Staff were friendly, location was great, place was clean. My issue is my room had no AC, I was on the 1st floor and window faced outside terrace so couldn’t sleep with it open. There was a fan but was not enough. Bed was very uncomfortable, no plush mattresses there. Not even a mattress cover just a sheet over an old mattress. Ceiling paint was peeling, looked like water damage. Shower was very hot and couldn’t add cold water. Lighting not the best in the bathroom. Did not refill snacks or water. Would I stay here again, I don’t think I would. Very noisy, I could here people upstairs pass gas!"
Buchanan Arms Hotel & Leisure, Sure Hotel Collection
2/10 Terrible
"We were given the 2 day beak as a gift. Unfortunately, our stay was not as we expected. Arrived at check in and had booked a king executive room but was told off by the staff member at reception for not booking a dog friendly room. I explained that I didn't see this instruction on the website but I was told again that "the instructions were there" Got a room which we were told that was an exec queen and didn't charge for the dog and that we had actually ended up saving money so we thought this was good. We arrived at our room and it was so disappointing. Room was tired, sofa was threadbare, no pictures on wall and the bathroom was in a bad state of repair including hairs in the bath drain. Really disappointed but because we had the dog, we didn't want to complain. On the 2nd day and after coming back to the hotel, the room had been tidied but teacup unwashed and bed just pulled up. One towel changed and no cleaning done. Holidays are not always about spending time in a hotel but the nicest thing after a day out is coming back to your room to relax - unfortunately we didn't feel relaxed at the hotel at all. Breakfast on the second morning not available at the hotel and we had to go to another hotel - we got a letter but no reason given for this. We won't be returning to the Buchanan Arms Hotel; so disappointing and especially since this was a treat from a very special relative."
"Checked in, receptionist was lovely. Climbed a load of stairs, along some corridors, down some stairs and up some more, finally got to our room, not a towel to be seen. Away back up and down all the stairs to ask for towels and then back up and down all the stairs again. Finally got to relax after driving all the way from Cornwall. Carpark was good, room was ok. Not the cleanest and the shower had more water coming out the hose than anywhere else. The restaurant had food, roast dinner with the toughest beef known to man but the meal as a whole was good. Bed was comfy and had a good nights sleep. In the morning. Headed for breakfast. Never been here before so used our psychic powers to figure out what the score was. The woman in the breakfast room had an abrupt tone about her but was pleasant enough. All the staff of the day started to arrive and congregate behind the bar having loud conversations about what was happening in which rooms and why. You know, the kind of mindless chat you want to hear first thing in the morning. Went out for a smoke before paying and heading back to our room to finish packing. Walked back in to what can only be described as the breakfast room lady looking very shifty, making faces to another guest in an attempt to hide the fact we were being spoken about. Checked out and never looked back. Wont be staying here again. The staff clearly prefer to chat about guests rather than do their job and provide a professional service. "
"Premier Lodge is always my first choice when I’m staying in the area, and that comes down to one thing above all else – the staff. They are genuinely first class. Every interaction is friendly, professional, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble. You’re always met with a smile, and there’s a real sense that they care about your stay.
The hotel itself is consistently clean, comfortable, and well run, but it’s the people that make the difference. They set the tone and make it an easy decision to return time and again. Reliable, welcoming, and a level of service that stands out."
