This cosy cottage used to be an old coach stables which has now been fully renovated into an ideal place to stay, within short walking distance of the centre of Dumfries which contains a number of shops, bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. It is also an ideal location to explore the beauty of the surrounding Dumfries & Galloway countryside.

The Old Stables offers the convenience of off-street parking for two cars, Wifi, Netflix and a welcome pack to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay here. Sushi was a great host. We had a bit of trouble with the lock box, but she was quick to assist. Being able to do laundry was amazing! A little planning is required though as a load took about 4 hours to wash and dry!!!! The breakfast items were very much appreciated!!! I would absolutely stay here again.

Comfortable and convenient

We had a lovely stay at the Old Stables. We had everything we needed: plenty of space yet cosy, good parking and convenient for the town yet easy to get out to explore the locality. The host was super helpful. Recommended.
