This hotel is a first class operation. It is very well managed. It is clean the entire staff is fantastic and I highly reccomend staying here, I've stayed at other Candlewood Suites that have not been quite as good. But this one is outstanding.

Our room was very clean, the beds were amazing when we had a room upstairs. The staff was great! Very quiet, and felt safe. Loved that they had a grill for us to enjoy with a back deck. We will definitely be using again when we go back to VA!

All of the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful! I do wish that they offered free breakfast and that the pool was open earlier in the day! My kids are up early in the morning and we are out doing things by 10 AM. Would have liked to let them go for a morning swim.

Everything was great. When my room wasn’t ready upon arrival, staff moved me to a new clean room. Very informative and kind. Only thing was the breakfast was extremely limited. Just fruit, bagels, and a 24/7 coffee machine. Otherwise clean, no problems. Perfect for a night stay.

Room for Improvement The suite itself was actually quite nice. Having a refrigerator and cooktop was a definite plus and the room had the potential to be a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately, a few things kept it from living up to that potential. Sadly, was no continental breakfast, although what the coffee machine spit out was acceptable—nothing to write home about, but it did its job. ☕️ The biggest issue was cleanliness. Finding food left on the walls from the previous occupant was definitely not the kind of “room service” I was hoping for. 😳 That was a pretty good indication that housekeeping may have missed a few things. The front desk was another adventure. More often than not, there was no one there, so getting assistance sometimes felt like playing a very low-stakes game of “Where in the Hotel Is the Front Desk Person?” 😂 All in all, the suite had some good features, but the lack of consistent service, attention to cleanliness, and common amenities made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been. With a little more attention to the details, this place could be so much better.
