"Advantage of this place/inn is that its close proximity to airport(8mins), walking distance 5-10min to beachfront and close to our fave place, the Panglao Farm,where you can interact with animals."

"Despite having an excellent location and concept, the overall management was completely lacking. There were very few staff members on site, and no proper services were provided. I believe it is highly problematic to operate such a great facility with poor management while still accepting guests."

"Ecostay has good beds, in cabins, with bathrooms, in a botanical setting . The restaurant food is tasty. Outside the hotel is a vast noisy building site. A commercial centre is under construction along with road resurfacing. Beach is 800m walk across busy road (P100 to cross private land) superb beaches, great to swim at high tide. Lots of inns and eateries nearby for tourists. "

"We paid 27€/night and I think this was quite good value. Location was a bit remote with most services situated in Alona Beach where you will need to take a ride (about 40 pesos) though we rather liked it this way rather then being right in the hustle and bustle. The place could really use a couple of sun beds since there aren't any. Service was extremely kind and helpful. If you don't mind the location and the lack of sun beds I would definitely recommend."

"We found exactly what we are looking for at Villa Umi. Beachfront and tranquility were achieved. We are extremely thankful to all the staff, they are very friendly and warm. We enjoyed the sunrise for 2 days, and all resorts (neighbor) are walkable if you want to see some crowds and try other foods and check other souvenirs or activities. Again, Villa Umi is kinda private and quiet, so if you want to avoid crowds, this is the exact hotel you want to stay. Also, they said its not the peak season, so we're good. In addition, They don't have private drive, you will share entrance with other guests entering Dumaluan beach resort/ pavilions, it's only a 3 to 4 min walk to Villa Umi. It's not a big issue at all, the staff carried all our luggage to the hotel. For all activites, you just need to ask the staff at front desk, we did our private tour around Bohol (like zipline, Loboc cruise, Tarsier viewing, Chocolate Hills) first before we checked in, so our 2nd day is all about the sea, sunrise viewing, swimming, snorkeling, walk, eat, take pictures, sleep. "

"Excellent property with varied amenities! Great room fixtures! 3 wonderful and well maintained huge pools! Pretty and clean white sand beach with clear water. Very friendly and accommodating staff! Super buffet breakfast with tons of choices! Overall, a 5 star resort!"

"We stayed at South Palms, now Oceanica, 8 years ago and enjoyed our stay then and still loved the place. Every staff were friendly and professional and were always willing to assist no matter what it was we needed. Due to the paying public being allowed access during the day, it was busier than normal. However, it wasn’t a deterrent for us enjoying ourselves. The location is amazing with long stretch of white sand beach for everyone to enjoy! Definitely will be returning to this place when we visit Bohol. "

"Its as beachfront as you could want, without being on a beachfront resort. Only a tiny passage for peeps to walk between u n ocean. End of the rd. Just enough for taxi to drop u off at door. Its a hidden gem. Locals frequent. Far enough away from the busy end of a really nice beach. Water is deeper n cleaner too!"

"Budget accommodation in a beautiful location. Beautiful neon lighting at night. Overlooks the beach. Great value for money but be aware it's a 300m walk from the closest car access and no hot water. Highly recommend quiet beach getaway. "
