"The rooms were big and spacious. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, not bad. My only complaint was a faint mildew smell in the lobby when you enter."

"The Boxly Place Inn truly felt like a warm, welcoming retreat in Louisa, Virginia. This charming house, built in the late 1800s, is packed with character and a sense of history. It shows some wear from the years, but it’s still incredibly cozy and inviting. The hostess who greeted me was lovely, giving me a personal tour and sharing some interesting stories about the building, which made my visit feel special and unique. Overall, it was a wonderful experience—relaxing, comfortable, and just what I was hoping for, exceeding all my expectations."

"The water preasure and temperature were amazing! The bed was soft, pillows plush but that frame was loud! Haha. It's on the nicer end of what you'd expect from a truck stop motel of that price but it was one I'd go back to."

"Easy check-in, plentiful parking and courteous staff. My husband, myself and our 2 yr old loved our stay. Room was very clean and clearly well-maintained. We also used the pool which was nice, but would have been nice to have been provided towels poolside. The location is close to several stores, gas stations and fast food places, which was very convenient. The only downside in our opinion was the breakfast buffet - stale breads, cereals, powdered egg etc. Thankfully proximity to other places made up for it. Would definitely stay again."

"Our room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. We arrived later and not really excited to see a lot of people hanging around outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful. We had an issue with an individual sitting in their car playing loud music outside our room window after 11 pm. I called the front desk and someone, I believe it was Alex, went out and asked them to stop. Thank you! Made the difference in my being able to get some sleep."
