"Quite disappointing for a Mercure - more like an Ibis-standard hotel. Room was very basic - vinyl flooring, average bed and there was no fridge or air-conditioning, even though this had been advertised. The restaurant was not available in the evening (they seemed to have a small function on) but we were teased by the fact that delegates seemed to be enjoying a delicious meal whilst we had to visit a local supermarket to get some bread and cheese to eat by the pool. "Check in was not great, but we eventually got our pre booked and pre paid rooms. Room was comfortable, large and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant was not great. Waiter brusque at best! Menu very limited and only the items listed on the black board available. No atmosphere in the restaurant, shame as very nicely presented and the food was ok Would stay again, but not eat."

"Very quiet environment, b&b with seperate entrance for guests and 2 double bedrooms with each a private bathroom tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, spaciuous shower. On a lower level towards the garden and private parking you find a little kitchen where breakfast will be served. Very friendly & helpful owner, spotless clean, great comfort. Many restaurants within 10 min drive in St.Avold. Highly recommended."

"Breakfast is kinda "mehh". You have a feeling of a family-hotel. kinda outdated (like with a extremly large key for your room etc) internet is using crappy wifi equipment that is outdated (and insecure) ventilation in rooms are not there at all. you need to leave door open making it cold. "do not disturb" sign falls off of doorknob due to weird design. but as I just needed a sleep. I guess it was OK. just staying here as it is close to the event I attended."
