This gorgeous cabin is the perfect mountain getaway, surrounded by 75-foot pines and an eclectic array of wildlife. It sits nestled in the mountains for a quiet and private get-a-way! Boasts a 1000 sq. ft. deck and an AMAZING view overlooking Duck Creek Meadow, Pink Cliffs, Zion, and Bryce Canyon.
There are 2 bedrooms downstairs with Queen beds, each sleeping 2 people, and upstairs, there is a large double loft with 1 full-size bed (sleeps 2), 2 single beds, and a Deluxe Air Mattress. Any guest over 6 will incur an additional $50 per night fee. And an additional $50 cleaning fee will be added.
Special note on pets: We are a dog-friendly cabin. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, up to 2 dogs maximum, unless we make an exception. There is an additional cleaning charge. If you want to include bringing your dog, you MUST indicate "pet" in your inquiry or booking request. All pets must be crated if left alone in THAT Cabin.
Pets are NOT allowed on the furniture at any time, and if an excessive amount of pet hair is found on the furniture, you will incur an additional $150 charge for cleaning.
Security Cameras.
THAT Cabin has three security cameras outside, they are visible. One is located on the front side/road, the second is located on the side of the cabin, above the window, facing the front door, the third is located on the front of the shed.
THAT Cabin is Equipped with SMART TVs, board games, DVD player, and a great selection of DVDs to choose from. There is no local cable or dish.
Your family and friends can enjoy the large 1000 sq ft. deck for entertaining equipped with Propane BBQs so you can sit outside and enjoy the spectacular view of Duck Creek Meadow, Zion, Pink Cliffs, and surrounding mountains.
At night, sit back, relax, watch the stars, and roast some s’mores or cook hot dogs while sitting around the newly built fire pit. From the daily visiting of deer, turkeys, hawks, and numerous species of birds, "THAT Cabin" delivers a spectacular daily array of wildlife and views that will surely take your breath away.
THAT Cabin is close to Southern Utah’s most popular attractions. It's a little over 3 hours from Las Vegas, located in Duck Creek Village (elevation. 8,400 feet), which is on Highway 14, easily accessible from I-15 on the west and Scenic Highway 89 to the east.
THAT Cabin is convenient for sightseeing and adventures at Bryce Canyon National Park (44 miles), Zion National Park (84 miles), Grand Staircase National Monument (20 miles), and Cedar Breaks National Monument (18 miles). The area also has hiking, fishing, hunting, cross-country skiing, ATV/snowmobiling on Dixie National Forest’s trail system, and watersports on Navajo Lake (6 miles).
For shopping and theater, visit Cedar City (31 miles), renowned for its annual Shakespearean Festival.
And cold Wintery nights!!! BE PREPARED!!! WARM CLOTHES, AND YOU'LL NEED A 4X4 AND/OR CHAINS DURING SNOWY SEASONS FOR ALL CABINS IN THIS AREA. Highway 14 is plowed until 6 pm.
We have a FIREPIT! (Not available in the winter months when snow is on the ground) You can enjoy roasting hotdogs, marshmallows, or the kids' new favorites. The roasted marshmallows make the BEST roasted dessert, S'Mores!!!! (graham crackers, chocolate, roasted marshmallows). Put the chocolate and roasted marshmallow between the graham cracker, making it a great sandwich dessert. MM. Good! You'll never forget it!
