Staff location and cleanliness were all great. Construction was going on directly across the street from Hotel so was loud and dusty on front patio of hotel. The patio otherwise would have been a lovely place to sit and relax.

The front desk people were fabulous. Loved the location away from the cruise ship crowds but very easy to get anywhere on the city bus. Everything was just minutes away from the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The breakfast was delicious and they have a wonderful swimming pool

We had a fantastic stay. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly particularly to my 1 year old daughter. They helped book us taxis with car seats no request was too much. It was very clean and comfortable.

Lovely stay
The hotel is in a really good location close to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. Beds are really comfy and staff were so helpful. Breakfast was good and as much as you wanted.

This hotel is a Three Star Property. It’s not fabulous!!! If you want to be near Sunset Beach its fine. It’s not luxurious. Simple and basic.

Location, location, location! This hotel is in a superb location. Just a few minutes from Sunset Beach, lots of restaurants and safe! We asked for a KING size bed and got two twin beds which were pushed together. Room 303 is very small. However, we didn’t spend much time in it. The staff is very accommodating! The hotel could use some new linens as the ones provided looked like something from a Vegas Hotel circa 1952. We didn’t understand what the comforter/sheet was under the comforter! There are also LOTS of cats in and around the property. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would stay there again!

Pleasant stay
Safe area. A 10 minute bus ride to the old city after a 5 minute walk to the No 6 bus stop. Close to a supermarket “Tommy” and restaurants are only just outside the property

Holiday Stay
Our room, was comfortable and clean, the pool was clean and in a sunny position. The hotel is close to lots of bars and restaurants and nightlife. Old town is a 20 minute bus ride away. Breakfast was good> our only complaint is that we had to walk up quite a few stairs, with our luggage, when we were dropped off at the front of the hotel by the driver that was organised by the hotel, the front desk could see that we were struggling with our luggage as they watched on the cctv, there was no offer to help with the luggage up the stairs, from the driver or the front office staff. Some times a little extra goes a long way to providing excellent service.

The location and staff are great. The rooms need some routine maintenance. Our restroom light bulb was out and the shower head and shelf were broken. The breakfast was great.

Intimate and Quiet
If you are fed up with massive hotels and hundreds of guests milling around then this one will make a refreshing change. The first sight of it when you arrive is very pleasing.As I've mentioned in the title, it's a hotel on a small and intimate level but it works. I'm not really interested in listing petty gripes - any issues were resolved by the friendly staff - the decor of my room might seem a bit old fashioned but it was comfortable enough and the bathroom design was excellent - lovely glossy tiles. Breakfast was satisfactory with enough - hot and cold stuff to satisfy all tastes hopefully. The breakfast staff were very patient with me - I was always late ( I blame the local firewater for that!) and when they quite rightly turned the lights off at 10am to signal close of breakfast I quite happily took my plate outside to sit on the lovely raffia chairs and tables by the pool in the company of the hotel cat.

A shining star
A lovely hotel, this was one of the nicest rooms we had in our trip through Slovenia, Bosnia and Croatia. The room was large with high ceilings, the bed large and comfy as was the pillow - a sharp contrast to the rock-hard, full-sized beds elsewhere. Bathroom was sufficient and the products smelled nice :) TWO balconies topped this room off beautifully. The pool was beautiful but rather cold. All in all a wonderful stay.

Good small hotel close to beach
We stayed here from 2-7th September 2017. Really nice small family run hotel lstaff will do anything for you breakfast was fine pool, area nice. Everything you need is on your door step a few hundred yards away are all the eating places yet no noise can be heard and just around the corner is the beach great location.

Small friendly hotel
Stayed here for 5 nights. Great location easy walk to the beach and restaurants and to the bus stop to go into the old town. Lovely swimming pool. Rooms comfortable but in need of up dating. Great breakfast

Very close to the nice beach, swimming poll was always open and clean. Room was big enough for 2 of us. Everything was in working condition. Breakfast was fantastic.

Worthless room service in a very good hotel.
Good location, fantastic breakfast, great front desk, good room with a very poor room service by the cleaning staff. Everyday she forgot one thing or the other, someday it was the toiletries, the other day it was the towels, the room was never cleaned/vacuumed, ashtray in the balcony never emptied. These are the staff which gives a bad rating to an otherwise good hotel

Very nice hotel, a ways from Old Town Dubrovnik
Everything about the hotel was very nice, not superb, but consistently very nice. Room was comfortable, breakfast was very nic, staff was helpful and friendly. Lapad is a nice area, quiet but with plenty of restaurants, ATMs, gelato, etc. but the hotel is about a 7 minute walk to the bus stop, then 15 minute bus ride to the Old Town, heart of activity in Dubrovnik.

Old Fashioned Yet Well Presented
Overall we had a very good stay however there are certainly some areas for improvement. The communal pool area has been recently renovated and is wonderful however the hotel interior remains totally dated, if not in an interestingly vintage way. Our shower door was broken, as was the door leading to the balcony. I noticed that our bathroom wasn't cleaned once during our 5 night stay despite the floor, sink and toilet all needing attention, nor were our sheets changed. I wouldn't necessarily expect this to happen every day, but certainly once or twice during a 5 night stay. I caught the housekeeping staff loitering in the corridor chatting on more than one ocassion and their general demeanor helped explain why the room hadn't been cleaned during our stay. In contrast, the pool and breakfast staff were absolutely wonderful, extremely friendly and attentive, whilst the reception staff were a mixture of friendly and surly depending on who was on shift. The breakfast was sufficient but nothing exceptional and we were disappointed to find that despite we were paying extra in the rate to have breakfast, coffees were not included which we had to pay extra for. Worth staying for the pool facilities and pool staff alone.

Hotel Aquarius is a reasonable place to stay. Located 50 yards from an attractive pedestrian walk with restaurants and bars. Three minute walk to bus stop where you can catch a bus that goes to the old city. Nice pool.
