About this property

Medzalin double room with balcony and sea view

  • Looking for an affordable place with amazing views and warm welcome? Then my place is perfect choice for your vacation in beautiful Dubrovnik!
    House is situated above Old city with magnificent view over Adriatic sea, Lokrum island and Old city itself.

    We have 2 private rooms and this one is with 2 twin beds pushed together. You wish beds to be separated please let me know in advance.
    Private room also has furnished balcony with one of the best views in the city... you will enjoy your morning coffee or tea looking at the Old city, sea and Lokrum island.
    There is also private bathroom with shower and toiletries. Room also provides refrigerator and flat screen TV which can be connected on Internet.

    You also have access to shared, fully equipped kitchen and dining area and to shared terrace with sea view. Please note that it is shared with only one more room. Kitchen provides everything you might need to prepare perfect mails such as stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, water kettle and utensils.
    You also have possibility to arrange breakfast, please note that it is not calculated in the price. If you are interested in arranging breakfast please send me an inquiry and I will make an offer. You can also arrange it directly with us when you arrive but please note that in that case there will be additional charge in cash. For breakfast we provide following: brad, jam, butter, omellete, seasonal fruit, tea, coffee.

    Please note that street to us is little narrow. I recommend to leave car parked and walk to the Old city. Since there are lot of steps on your way back I recommend to use Taxi or Uber unless you are in a good shape. Trust me, it is worth for the view.

    This is our guests' favorite part of Dubrovnik, according to independent reviews. It has good connectivity with Old Town, bus no 4 drives directly to the Pile Gate entrance to the Old City.

Best view of the old city

The view was amazing, you have to climb lots of stairs, but definitely worth it. The room and bathroom were very clean, the beds were very comfy. The owners were very helpful and kind. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay and enjoy Dubrovnik during our trip to Croatia.

Communication with the property was very thorough and helpful The location and view were outstanding. Vlaho was helpful in getting us parked and settled and provided information on the whereabouts of groceries, access to the Old City, etc. The property itself is beautiful.

Gorgeous balcony view but challenging hike from the old town.

It was very close to the old town. The view from the balcony was gorgeous! The check in and check out process was easy. Our uber dropped us off 2 mins from the property.

Comfy, cosy apartment with a stunning view from the balcony

The view is just amazing from up high on the balcony. The staff were so friendly and wanted to help us (for free) with drying our laundry. Assistance with parking the car was also very helpful.

Friendly and helpful owners that were great communicators. Place is clean, updated, and pleasant. Has a nice sized fridge in the room. Bathroom is nice sized, clean, updated. Private parking spot was great to have. 10min downhill walk into the old town. The best view of the old town right at your balcony!! Would definitely recommend!

Location, location location and on site parking. Enjoy

Location, location, location. Amazing views, easy 15-20 down hill into the town. On site parking, just off the main road down a ramp way. Don't worry the owner meets and guides you in. All rooms have patio doors overlooking the living and spectacular view of Dubrovnik and surrounding islands. Wow.

Lovely place! View was amazing, it was quiet and close to the old town.

Amazing view!! We loved the balcony and we’re lucky to get one of the bathrooms to ourselves. We didn’t use the kitchen, so can’t give feedback on that. Seemed good though. Very good location - a 10 minutes walk downhill. A tougher walk going back home, but definitely worth it. We also loved Bellevue Beach which is a 30-minutes walk from the apartment.

Cute guest house with gorgeous views of old town

We loved our stay at this property while on Dubrovnik. The views are unmatched, but be aware that does come at the cost of many, many stairs when walking back and forth to the old town. Luckily my husband and I are in great shape, but it got to be a bit much even for us, especially during peak heat times. Regardless, we would certainly stay there again. The room was one of the largest we had compared to other cities in Croatia. The hosts are very nice and were helpful with getting our luggage to and from our rooms.

Fabulous location with breathtaking views.

We had an amazing view down over the old town from our two rooms. Both rooms had a private balcony with a little table and chairs, just wonderful for watching the sunset. The hosts helped us with our bags up the steps on our arrival and departure. There was a beer and juice in the fridge for us. The hosts were friendly and chatty. Everything was great. We weren't self catering but there was a small kitchen/dining room where we could have heated food and made breakfast and lunch if we had wanted to. A super quiet location with the owners above and the owners parents below. An easy 15 min walk into town. A more vigorous walk up the hill back but perfectly do-able. A 10-15min taxi ride (20 Euros) from the central bus depot.

Great stay a short walk from the old town

Vlaho was a great host, he waited for us to arrive and showed us where to park. He took us to our room and showed us everything, he also gave us tips of where to go in the old town. He and his family were very welcoming, and the view from the balcony was spectacular, I definitely would stay here again if I come back to Dubrovnik!

On site parking was helpful rather trying to find parking. Accommodation were great and the view was fantastic which comes with a deck. 10 to 15 min walk to old town but be ready to take the stairs backup.
