This unique, fully self-contained, large, 1 bedroom garden apartment sleeps up to 4 people and occupies the entire ground floor of the owners’ (Australian/Croatian) home. It is set amidst a beautiful garden with 12 ancient olive and pomegranate trees. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, the separate lounge area has a 55" smart tv with Netflix, the aircon and wi-fi are free, and the separate king size bedroom has a new bed and a large wardrobe. The apartment is totally private and very quiet and has its own dedicated al-fresco dining area.
The home is situated on a quiet pedestrian street, in the affluent Boninovo district. It has its own private entry with exclusive use of the front garden and the spacious al-fresco dining area. It is a 5 -15min walk away from almost everything in Dubrovnik: the Old Town, beaches, cafes and restaurants, museums and art galleries, bus stops, grocery stores and shopping areas, medical centres and pharmacies.
Paid parking is available at the under cover Public Car Park some 5 min walk away or the newly built open car park which is just down the road - about 50 meters (2 minute walk) away. Street parking is available but difficult to find during peak periods.
If you are arriving by plane, you can catch an Uber/Bolt, taxis, or airport shuttle bus. Send us a message once you arrive in to Dubrovnik and we will advise the best way to get to our place. If catching an Uber/Bolt please make sure you type in the following address as your destination as there are a lot of out of town drivers here during the season and google maps can't be trusted 100%. The destination address is: Ulica Ivana Matijasevica 2, Dubrovnik Once there, it's only a 1 minute walk to our property or feel free to message us and we will come and escort you.
A new, sophisticated prosecco bar with fabulous views has just opened down the street next to the outdoor cinema Kino Slavica (the drop off point). So if you are early you can enjoy a drink until check-in time.

Sorry no pets and no parties. The neighbourhood has a quiet period between 14:00-16:00 (siesta time) and no loud noises allowed after midnight. This is truly a quiet and serene place.
Note that all linen is provided, as are beach towels, bathroom necessities, as well as kitchen staples.

From centrally located Boninovo it is possible to walk to all parts of Dubrovnik, including the restaurant districts of the Old Town, Lapad Bay, and Gruz harbour. While the apartment is within a 5min walk to the nearest swimming spot, you will need to be fit to tackle the stairs back up from it. Within a 10min walking distance away are the swimming areas of Bellevue Beach, Suljic Bay, Dance Beach. Banje Beach is a 15 min walk and Lapad Bay and Copacabana Beach are a short bus trip away. It is also an 8-10min leisurely walk, along an historic pedestrian lane-way, to the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Supermarket, chemist and medical centre are a 5 min walk away, as is the bus stop from where you can go to other parts of the city and nearby villages. The funicular station, which takes you to the top of Mt. Srdj (where the views are spectacular and can be enjoyed over a drink or dinner at the mountain top cafe and restaurant Panorama), is a 10-12min walk away.
Guest access: Guests come in through the shared front security gates, but have their own private entry into their ground floor apartment. There is only the one guest apartment on the property so the entire front garden is for the exclusive use of our guests as is the al-fresco/outdoor dining terrace.
Spaces and their amenities: Loungeroom: 2 x 2 seater leather lounges; Air conditioning unit; 55" Smart TV with Netflix, Youtube etc.; Board games; sofa bed which can sleep up to 2 people as a queen size bed or made up as a single. Lots of books. Underfloor heating for the cooler months.
Fully equipped Kitchen: Toaster, kettle, coffee maker, tea pot, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery, dishes, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, oven and stove, and a washing machine. All washing powder is included as are kitchen staples such as olive oil (our own), salt and pepper, coffee and tea, and sugar. Underfloor heating.
Bedroom:- 1 king size bed (180cm x 200cm) with a new mattress, bedside tables with draws, large built-in wardrobe, linen, doona and blankets, hangers, extra pillows, ironing board and iron. Windows have external shutters and internal shutters for total block-out for a perfect night sleep. Air conditioning unit. Underfloor heating.
Bathroom: Massaging shower unit, soft close wall-hung toilet, large sink and storage cupboard. We provide towels, hand soap, toilet paper, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and a sowing kit. Underfloor heating if required.
Beach essentials: - Beach towels and a beach bag are provided for your convenience.
Safety features: - Fire extinguisher, First aid kit.
Please note due to the thickness of the walls, the wi-fi is best in the loungeroom and bedroom. It is very patchy in the kitchen, although it works outside in the alfresco dining area.

Lovely property with all the amenities you could wish for and in an excellent location.
We would recommend this property without any hesitation at all. It had everything that you could need for a lovely holiday. Anna and Bob were excellent hosts who went out of their way to ensure that our stay was easy and trouble free. Communication was excellent, queries before and during our stay were answered quickly. Anna arranged transfer from and to the airport which was both efficient and reasonably priced . The apartment was very clean, spacious and extremely well equipped. There was milk coffee, tea and a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. Having an outside area for breakfast and dinner was a real delight as well as a continuous supply of fresh pomegranates (not available all the year round of course)!
There is plenty to do in and around Dubrovnik, the old city is a delight, (even if you have never watched "Game of Thrones") and there are some lovely villages and islands to visit by boat.
Anna and Bob pride themselves in offering a high standard of accommodation and service and they did not disappoint!
You may gather from this, that we had a lovely stay. We did!
Check in was easy and Bob was very helpful and very friendly. We didn’t meet Anna but she was very quick to reply on the app with any queries. We loved the apartment and everything we needed was provided by them both. It was really clean with air conditioning and had a lovely spot to sit outside. Only a short walk to the old town too. All in all it was fantastic.
