The Host Goldi was lovely full of information and advice about the area. We were disappointed in accomodation, It was advertised as an room with a balcony but it was not, it was just a room, there was no balcony and there was nowhere to sit other than on the bed, we were there for 5 nights no clean towels or sheets. The appartments were a short walk to the Old Town,(lots of steps but that is everywhere in Dubrovnik). Other than that we had a fabulous time in Dubrovnik

Not what we expected at all.

Although the property location and owner was awesome. The room was not clean and nothing like we expected from the pictures. The bed had ants coming out of nowhere, needless to say it wasn't a clean place at all. The sheets and towels were worn out. Fridge had hair in it. I was also surprised that we had to pay only with cash.

Mukava paikka

Yövyin puolisoni kanssa 2 yötä studio huoneistossa. Tilasin huonevarauksen yhteydessä lentokenttä kuljetuksen, mikä oli hyvä valinta sillä ensikertalaisena illan hämärässä olisi huoneisto voinut olla vaikea löytää. Lentokenttä kuljetus toimi hyvin. Kuski oli kentällä odottamassa ja ajoi meidät perille. Paikan päällä tapasimme huoneiston edustajan joka näytti meille huoneemme, kertoi säännöt ja antoi avaimet. Lisäksi hän neuvoi helpoimmat reitit kaupunkiin ja näytti missä lähin kauppa sijaitsee. Todella mukava ihminen. Huone itsessään oli mielestäni upea. Täysin varusteltu keittiö, hyvin toimiva suihku, mukava sänky, nopea netti ja terassi upealla maisemalla merelle. Sijainti ei ollut kaukana vanhasta kaupungista ja sinne päin mennessä sai kävellä alamäkeen. Takaisin päin käytimme paikallisbussia. Ainoa huono asia oli että sää ei matkapäivinämme ollut kovin suotuisa. Ilmanlämpö oli n.14 astetta, vettä satoi ja tuuli kovaa. Terassin ikkuna oli yksinkertaista lasia ja huoneen lämpötila oli aika lähellä ulkoilman lämpötilaa. Tästä syystä huoneessa olikin iltaisin aika viileä ja kostea ilma. Onneksi peittoja oli kuitenkin tarpeeksi niin ihan hyvin tarkeni nukkua. Jos joskus palaan Dubrovnikiin niin yöpyisin samassa paikassa erittäin todennäköisesti.

No sleep for all the wrong reasons.

This residence is not what I was expecting. No mattress and just a very thin layer of something resembling foam on the bed led for a very uncomfortable couple of nights stay. Towels not changed during visit and beds not made when room cleaned during the day. This spoilt my trip to be honest as everything else was fair. Beautiful Sea views were a nice bonus. Good value for the location. Nice people in the area and very beautiful city to visit.

ótima hospedagem com vistas incríveis!

O ponto alto deste apartamento é a localização, com vistas deslumbrantes da ilha de Lokrum e da cidade antiga e a 5 minutos da praia Banje. Sobre este assunto, vale lembrar que neste bairro (Ploce), devido a posição elevada, as vistas são ótimas, porém tem que encarar escadarias para chegar até o centro. Para nós não foi um problema. Mas para pessoas mais idosas ou com pouca mobilidade, não recomendo. A proprietária foi muito simpática e nos deu dicas. O apartamento é na verdade um estúdio com quarto, cozinha e banheiro, além da varanda com vistas. As fotos subestimam o local que é mais bonito. O único inconveniente é a cama para a 3ª pessoa, nada confortável. Mesmo solicitando e tendo sido mudada, continuou pouco confortável. Tem que melhorar. No geral, nossa estadia (3 noites) foi ótima e voltaríamos sem problemas. O custo x benefício foi ótimo.

旧市街から少し距離はあるけど安価に泊まるには良い宿

オーナーから前もって到着時間を教えて欲しいというメールがあり，おおよその到着時間を返事しました．ケーブルカーの駅から600mくらいのところにあるBiker's cafeで待っているということでした．シャトルバスをピレ門前で降り坂道を登ってケーブルカーの駅に行く手前にBiker's cafeの看板を見つけ，駅を越えてひらすら歩きました．天気は良く汗だくになりながら歩きましたが，中々見つかりませんでした．途中で近所の人に聞いたらもうちょっと先と言われ，やがて言われた通り道の左側（山側）にBiker's Cafeがありました．Google Mapでは確かに600m程度でした．Cafeに入ってメールの送り主を探しましたが，最初は分からないと言われました．そこでiPadでメールの送り主の名前を見せたら分かってもらえて連絡を取ってもらい会うことができました．宿はBiker's Cafeから歩いてすぐでした．本来のチェックイン時間は15:00でしたが，13:30くらいにはチェックインできました．アパートを宿に改造したような感じで，エレベータもありませんでしたが，それほど重い荷物でも無かったので私には問題になりませんでした． 宿代は先にEuroの現金で支払い，鍵を貰ってチェックイン終了でした．タイミングが良くて助かりました．チェックアウトの時には鍵を郵便受けに入れるように指示されました． 部屋は一人で寝泊まりするには十分で，空調も良く効いて快適でした．冷蔵庫もありました．Biker's Cafeの隣はスーパーマーケットで朝食や飲み物を安く買うことができました． オーナーの話では階段を降りて下の道路を右に進めばブロチェ門まで行けるということでした．そのまま降りる道は行き止まりでハシゴを降りれば降りることはできましたが，身軽な方にしかこの道はお奨めできません．それよりも一度上の道に出て，ケーブルカーの乗り場の方に進んで途中から斜めに降りていく道で行く方が無難だと思われました． 2泊しましたが，Dubrovnikの観光を満喫できました．

최악의 숙소

hotels.com에서 메일로 현지지불로 메일을 받았음 현지에서 카드결재 안되고 오로지 현금지불 요청으로 황당했음. 현지 은행 찾아가서 카드로 현금인출해서 지불함(개고생) 숙소는 한국의 민박수준 이었음. 밥 먹을 테이블도 없어서 침대에 수건깔아놓고 음식먹음.

Unclean room with not well washed towels

We've traveled for 50+ days for this trip and unfortunately we have to say this was the worst hotel/residence of all our stays. The room is not up to the minimum standard of a hotel/residence: the floor was dirty; the beddings were old and dirty and looked like not being washed; the towels were not clean and felt damped (not properly dried). The window could not be closed completely; a few pieces of furniture covered with dusts and looked dirty and not usable. All in all, this room was in very bad condition and not regularly maintained and cleaned. To say we were disappointed is an understatement! In addition, the so-called Wi-Fi was interrupted constantly. It looked like it got internet connection from someone else' internet connection since the router was not connected to any obvious internet connections. The second night until the next morning we left, the internet connection was completely gone. We cannot believe the rooms of such conditions could be rented out to guests and Expedia should validate it before letting it posted on your site!

최악이 였습니다 선택은 저의 몫이 겠지만 충분한 정보와 설명이 부족 했다고 생각합니다 숙박을 하게 된다면 호텔스 닷컴을 이용하는 편인데 이번엔 너무너무 실망 했습니다 사실 집 주인 보다 호텔스 닷컴에 대한 실망이 훨씬 컸습니다 여러개의 방이 있었고 방마다 환경은 매우 차이가 컸습니다 그런데 그중 상황이 조금 나은 방에 대한 정보를 모든 방에 적용 시켜서 정보를 올려 놓고 이용자에게 거짓 정보를 보여준거나 다름 없습니다 저의 이런 의견이 꼭 반영 되길 바라며 호텔스 닷컴에서 좀더 신중하게 업체를 선정해서 올려 주시길 바랍니다 이곳에서 3일이나 머물렀습니다 정말 많이 힘들었습니다 가방을 펼쳐놓을 공간도 없이 침대 주변을 그것도 옆으로 걸어 다녀야 할 정도 였으니까요 하지만 센트럴 호텔이나 미르자나 라스토케는 아주 만족스런 숙소 였습니다

Enttäuschung in einer Residenz

Aufenthalt hat an Städte wie Paris, Rom oder London erinnert. Zu teuer für zu wenig. Schade! Kein Wasserkocher, kein vernünftiges Oberbett, Müslischalen ohne große Löffel... Badezimmer und ein Handtuch nicht sauber, außerdem hat es den Charme der 80'er. Eine umgewandelte Wohnung als Cash-Cow. Immerhin konnten wir am Abreisetag gratis parken und haben sehr gute Hinweise und Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt bekommen. Daher insgesamt 3 Sterne.

Nice apartment close to everything!

This is the perfect place to stay, just a short walk from Old Town and all the things you want to see. Our room had a balcony with a fantastic view at the ocean. Very nice apartment (studio) with everything you need. Goldi is the perfect host, very kind and helpful! We recommend this apartment and we will stay here again if we return!

Good location

If you have a car and want to be close to the old city then this place is good for that. The room was small.. I knew due to the cost it would not be amazing. The pillows were awful lumpy and the bedding old. Lots of mould in the shower. The host was great once we found the place.. she had been trying to contact me but we had some connectivity issues so unless I hadn't disturbed the neighbour who phone her for me.. then this could have been a nightmare to gain entry. Maybe a word about checking in on the hotel blurb would help? Amazing view from our window. If there were just a few little nice touches like new sheets and pillows it could have made it a lot better. States there is coffee making facilities but no actual coffee supplied just a machine. And perhaps a clean up in the foyer which was filthy. Anyway I am a roll with the punches kinda traveller .. you win some you lose some. I was very happy we could park our car here free. Let's just leave it at that :)
