And the infamous Dubrovnik is 40 kilometres southeast and most definitely worth a visit.Formed in seventh century and since scarred by many of its rulers today Dubrovnik displays a rich cultural history and historical significance. Protected by UNESCOpedestrian onlycharming Old Town is enveloped in 10thcentury city walls, 2 kilometres in length, in some parts 6 metres tall. It is a must stroll! Stradun, or Dubrovnik’s placa, is a picturesque street lined with cafés and restaurants, aperfect viewpoint to admire the architecture and watch the world go by while enjoying fresh catch of the day and sipping on a glass of Malvazija. For transparency: please account for 300 euro security deposit to be paid upon arrival directly to the host and returned upon departure, subject to inspection. Pool heating is available for 18 euro per night. Pets are welcome upon request with an additional 10 euro per night pet fee. The rental of 1 kayak and 2 stand-up paddleboards is 100 euros per week, with unlimited use included. Please no groups of under 25 years of age.
