The shelbourne offers a wonderful experience at a beautiful grand hotel. The rooms, beds, service and food provide an excellent experience. Everyone must experience this hotel if visiting Dublin, especially during the holiday season. It is a one of a kind !!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Dublin. Rooms were beautifully presented and the main areas of the hotel were pristine. The hotel offers a good variety of dining options and the Horseshoe bar is fantastic. The pool area was nice but felt disconnected from the theme of the hotel. We will definitely be staying again.

My third time at The Shelbourne, was checked into my room at 9am (they always seem to have a room ready for me) Flawless.

Excellent location in Dublin

My husband and I stayed here as our first trip to Dublin and we were blown away! The location is excellent and the accommodations were above and beyond. We were so comfortable and loved that we could walk to many locations nearby. The only thing we noted about our room is that it was a little warm and the duvet was very heavy, but that may just be our preference. Everything else was superb!

Great that the Shelbourne now prioritises their residents over the walk-in customers. Was great to see that a dedicated area for residents have opened in all the bars. We had the most stunning bedrooms and enjoyed also lounging around with our young adult kids and catching up.

Staff range from average to arrogant and unfriendly - have never seen worse in any 5-star hotel. Breakfast is shockingly average (more in line with 3-star hotel). BUT - the rest of the Shelborne hotel experience is actually great.
