DO. NOT. STAY. HERE.
The apartment was a bit grubby and the washer/dryer did not work. A bit disappointing but otherwise it was a stay I would have no gripes with - except we had no hot water until the morning of our third day.
I was in frequent communication with the "host" (a team of people from a rental company called Sol Haven Properties), but nobody on the team seemed to know the property. They sent me a guide that talked about the water heater switch being located outside the upstairs bathroom. It was a one-level apartment.
We asked the neighbor for help who told us all we had to do was turn on the water heater that was behind a padlocked door. It took 12+ hours for us to get that code (after being given the wrong one). I requested a three-day refund for the days we did not have hot water, as VRBO support classified it as a major issue. The hosts were not happy about that and became rude and aggressive. I left it alone until the end of our stay out of fear they might ask us to leave.
I requested the three-day refund again at the end of our stay, and they claimed that the padlock code and water heater instructions were in the property guide that I read from front to back. When I went to check, the original link mysteriously did not work, so they had to send me a new one to the "same" property guide.
I waited to post this review until my $500 deposit was given back to be safe. I was told we aren't the first to have this problem. Do not get scammed like I did.
