Lovely Cottage - Perfect Getaway for Family
I got married on a lake nearby and booked Tom's cottage for my immediate family to stay at and take morning-of getting ready photos. They turned out absolutely stunning and the lighting in the garage studio was perfect for my sisters and I to get ready together. Tom was incredibly responsive and helpful during the stay as well. The July heat was tough, but it cooled down significantly overnight. The house staying a bit cooler than the loft, but a few fans fixed it easily. And, to top it off, the view of Monadnock from the yard was unbelievable.

Country Cottage
Perfect country cottage for a weekend! We added the extra apartment for our party of 4. Excellent location, as alumni of Keene State College - it was close for a day trip to Keene. The fire pit was fun and the view was fantastic! Tom was an excellent host!

Exactly what we were looking for.
Mount Monadnock holds a special place in our family’s history, and this cottage was the perfect base from which to explore the mountain and the surrounding area. We spent our evenings basking in the warmth of the fire-pit and the glow of the mountain at sundown. The beautiful period furnishings and fixtures of the cottage reinforce the feeling of connection with the history of this special place. We feel privileged to have been able to share it.

A very gracious host
My husband and I actually came down with sickness and we're not able to make the trip. Husband felt sick the day before we were supposed to leave to head to Tom's place. It got progressively worse and we realized we couldn't make it. The host graciously refunded us part of our money back even though it was within our stay window. Hopefully we will be able to stay at Tom's place next time!

Nice and affordable
If the rate had been higher, I might've given this listing 4 stars. But, given the affordability, I'm happy to give the full 5 stars. It is a serene location with a stunning view. The heating system is very loud (being from the area, we are not strangers to loud radiant heat, but this was LOUD!) and the bathroom could be brought up to the standards of the rest of the house. Again, nitpicking at $175/nt. We had a lovely snowstorm right on cue. :^)

Lovely home in gorgeous location!
Our stay was lovely! We had some issues with check in that ultimately got resolved, and the property was gorgeous, clean, and private. I honestly wish we had spent more time in and around the house as it’s completely beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Outstanding stay in Dublin!!
Very nice property with excellent views, close to the lake and outstanding amenities throughout the property. We enjoyed the fire pit, super comfortable beds and loved the well appointed kitchen. It was also nice to have a good number of chargers throughout the house. The check in and check out process was easy and straight forward and the communication from the host was very good throughout the stay. While we did not have any problems during our stay, he made it very clear that he was available for any questions about the property. We loved out visit, and wold definitely book this property again in the future. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home!!

Not what I hoped it would be
This property just needed a bit of love and care but could be great. The cleaning crew didn't do the work they needed to and it wasn't in the shape we expected and we needed to clean when we arrived. The owner was very responsive and tried to support us but couldn't get anyone to the property for a short, weekend visit.

Perfect
We were in NH for a family funeral. We were unable to find hotel rooms. And looked into renting this property. Tom went out of his way to make the home ready for us So happy we're we all able to stay together at this lovely home. It was comfy and welcoming, as though we were at one of our own homes. It offered a beautiful view of the mountains and we really enjoyed chatting around the fire pit each night. Would totally come back again. We had a wonderful time at this property. The house is large and comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring the Monadnock region. The view of Mount Monadnock from the house is spectacular. We look forward to visiting again.

Great Winter Getaway
Took my spouse and 3 kids here (1 slept on the couch), and really enjoyed the winter weather and beautiful views of Mount Monadnock. The yard has a good sledding hill, though be prepared for some wintry driving conditions in the driveway. We skied at Crotched Mountain during our stay, which was a 30-35 minute drive. The kitchen setup was well-appointed with everything we needed to prep meals. Would definitely stay again in any season!

The house has a great farmhouse country feel. In the message from the owner we were told it was an old house with its quirks. We had all adults (mostly middle-aged) staying at the house, so we understood the delicateness' of the plumbing, heat etc. A younger group may not be so mindful.

Beautiful house great for getting together with friends
My friends and I had a great time staying in this property. The host, Tom, was very clear with check in instructions and very accommodating. Only one minor issue arised and he promptly had it fixed while we went out on a hike. Speaking of, there are great hiking trails in the area that are a short drive away. The house very clean and cozy and felt very secluded. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Building memories in Dublin

Charming house with great mountain views

Sweet, easy cottage with stunning view
Tom's cottage is terrific. It's exactly as described in the listing, perfect for our family of 4 plus my teenage step-child, who slept in the adjoining apartment. The fire pit is lots of fun and easy to use, with a gorgeous view of Mt. Monadnock. The area is packed with things to do: hiking, swimming, boating, public tennis courts and nice farm stands. The house is small but well-equipped, well-maintained, and very easy to use.

Just like home
This was a homecoming of sorts, as my traveling companion and I grew up in nearby Jaffrey. Cheshire country is one of the loveliest corners of the world, as far as I'm concerned, and the house is perfectly situated just above Dublin Lake, with outstanding views of Mt. Monadnock. We spent hours sitting in the adirondack chairs just watching the light on the mountain change. The house is rustic, but well-appointed and comfortable, and features two separate living areas. Kitchen stove has gas. No grill, but a firepit. Finally, the owner was very responsive and helped us figure out how to access our own Netflix on the TV system. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit home.
