Our first night was a Sunday and the club downstairs was packed. Our room was on the front so you could hear the noise of this although we had no trouble sleeping.
The second night there was no noise from the club , not sure if it was open on a Monday but we had a lovely night sleep albeit noisy neighbours banging drawers at 6am but that is no fault of the hotel. We were awoken on the Tuesday to a very load building site directly across the road. Again this is no fault of the hotel but something to be aware of.
The hotel was very clean. The rooms small and basic but tasteful and clean. Very comfy bed and great shower.
The breakfast was amazing and didn’t finish until 11 so didn’t need to get up too early. The variety was great and food piping hot.
The hotel is a good 15-20 minute walk to the temple area but some brilliant pubs, bars and gardens to see on the way so we didn’t mind this too much. We loved our stay in beautiful Dublin and would definitely return to the Harcourt Hotel.
