We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated all that this townhouse had to offer! The host was wonderful to work with, and the location felt safe and was very convenient. We spent the entire trip getting around via the Tram and really loved it as a source of transportation! We're really excited to go back and hopefully stay there again!
The 2 up 2 down house is in the perfect location for exploring Dublin. It's close to DART, the sites are all within walking distance. It's quiet and tucked off a main road. Kitchen has everything you need for a quick meal. Highly recommend for a stay in Dublin.
Great location - near the Dart so super easy for the city and the coast, which felt like best of both works. Very quiet cul de sac location. Communication with the host was excellent. Key pick up is in person but they were super flexible about meeting times and even changed them at late notice when we got there unexpectedly early. Would recommend!
Great location and it‘s got everything necessary for a few days
We spent 3 nights in Dublin and loved the location and amenities. Shops and a DART station are within walking distance. The accomodation provided enough space for the 4 of us for a few days. If we had stayed longer than that, though, it would‘ve been a little cramped since we all had large suitcases and there isn‘t much space to store them. For 2 people or a family of 3 it would probably work out for longer, though. Apart from that we were happy with our time here in Sandymount!
I would recommend this VRBO as communication was perfect with the owner. The property is about two blocks from a DART stop which can take you north to Howth or south to Bray. Also there are great pubs and eateries very close to the property a very easy walk. I hope this property is available the next visit as I will be back.
Though the property was a little further out of the downtown than we anticipated we solved the issue by getting a week's transit pass. Both a bus stop and train station were closeby so made it very easy to travel all around Dublin and environs.
The property was well equipped wth everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The townhouse is in an amazing location - incredibly close to the stadium, yet on a quiet street. A super place for attending events. The townhouse's kitchen is great, the bathroom is adequate, and the beds are super comfortable. The housekeeper was so accommodating. It would benefit from a little investment to upgrade the carpet and the couch, both of which have seen one too many steps or seats.Having said that, again, you can't beat the location.
Lansdowne Village, where this property is located, is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to town center via Dart (public transport), taxi or a 25 minute walk. It was a really good location for us as we were attending a college football game at Aviva Stadium which is a 5 minute walk.
There were also restaurants within a 10 minute walking distance for those couple of times we didn't go into town.
The property itself was clean, comfortable and met our needs. Check in/out was easy. The property agent was very easy to communicate with and was helpful in giving us tips to navigate the area. The entire process went very smoothly.
This was a great week long experience. The townhouse was in a perfect location to catch the DART for us to be able to experience Dublin for a week. I would definitely come back again. :)
The property is super nice and the perfect amount of tucked away and close to transportation. The DART station is super accessible to the city centre and easy to use, also its only a 5 minute walk. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Highly recommend
The house is in a great location, very warm and homely. Suzanna was a great help, very accommodating and made it really easy to get keys and move out early in order to get to the airport at 7am. One and only downside was that the internal doors are very creaky so moving around during the night (loo breaks) could disturb others. Otherwise a great choice and would definitely rebook.
Great location for the game. The cleaning lady was supposed to show up when we got there and when we left but when I contacted Vivienne she got the neighbor to help us immediately. The bathroom is tiny - like a cruise ship and don't leave the door open because the smoke detector will go off :) Some things are new, looks like she's fixing the place up but this is perfect if you are going to a game at the stadium. photo is from the bedroom looking at the stadium. Has a washing machine but no dryer and basic essentials for breakfast. THANKS Vivienne!
This is a wonderful property to book. It's a 2 bedroom townhouse completely outfitted with everything you could possibly need. It is in a very quiet and secure neighborhood.
We did not rent a car, but there's a parking spot out front if needed. There are several grocery stores, pubs, and restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. The Dart train and buses are within a 10 minute walk of the house. Vivienne and Suzanna are very attentive and communication was easy and seamless. This house is comfortable, cozy, and clean. It's a wonderful base for all of your Irish adventures.
Nettes kleines Häuschen, Hausnummer fehlte bei der Info zur Anreise
Wir hatten bei Ankunft leider keine komplette Adresse,nur den Area-Code, was uns bis dahin nicht klar war, so dass wir das Haus ( Hausnummer) suchen mussten und erst auf Nachfrage per Email die Hausnummer erhielten.
DIe Housekeeperin war zum Zeitpunkt unserer Ankunft schon bei einem anderen Termin, Schlüssel allerdings unter dem Blumentopf.
Die Geräte in der Küche waren nicht so sauber, wie man das erwarten kann. Auch Teile des Hauses hätten besser gesaugt sein können, z.B. unter den Sesseln. Einige Staubweben auch im Kleiderschrank und in den Ecken. Sonst aber eine recht gute Ausstattung in der Küche, sogar Toilettenpapier und Zewa. Ruhig gelegen zwischen Bahnstation und Strand.
Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es liegt sehr zentral, alles ist einfach zu erreichen. Vivienne und Suzanna waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Haus empfehlen und werden sich wiederkommen.
The owner and the housekeeper were delightful to communicate with and provided timely responses and good information. This location is perfect is you require access to transit. Bus and train station is incredibly close. Nearby neighbourhood is wonderful for restaurants and any grocery shopping or other shopping. The neighburhood is quiet, which was wonderful for us. I'm sure this is a busy property, due to all of the above. and it worked well for two friends travelling together. Honestly, the property could really use a deep clean. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much.
Hemos estado muy bien, una estancia estupenda. Muy positivo el recibimiento. Nos dejaron desayuno y comida a la llegada. La despedida perfecta también, se nos ayudó a contratar un taxi hacia el aeropuerto. A medida hora andando al centro de Dublín y muy bien comunicado para moverse por la ciudad y alrededores.
This lovely home is very safe in ambassadors areas, few mins walking to bus and train station.
Surrounding restaurants are fantastic. The owner n the cleaning lady is very helpful, friendly and flexible to fit our check in with our arrival time. Overall, we have a wonderful stay for 8 days there.
