"Need a better system for check in. I was not sent any information and had to phone the property to get codes. They did answer but arriving late at night as a lone female i felt unsafe. it should be made clearer what the system is before you book. Building itself is nice and my room was nice if a little dated. I personally didn’t like the set up. No luggage storage or anyone on site in case of issues."

"The guesthouse was very charming as they haven’t changed much in years. All the staff were great especially Nicholas who was very personable. Beware of lots of stairs in the building. I for one loved being on the top floor. The neighborhood is a little messy and noisy on the street but that seems par for the course in most of the city. Many places to walk for food and there is a nice green park with a playground very near by. "

"Safe and comfortable property and surroundings. A market (Donnybrook Fair) was less than a block away. It was approximately a 25 minute walk to St. Stephen's Green/Dublin City Centre. The only issue I had with this property was the very thin walls (the building is very old) and I was able to hear conversations, washroom business, etc and the people in the next suite were not loud, ie: not shouting at all. Definitely bring your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The front desk kindly provided...

However, we had no issues in it, other than it was a 10-minute cab ride from almost anything else. There is a 24-hour prior check in with the hotel required, and they will text you with the code to get into the hotel and room. "The hotel is in a good location to walk to most locations in Dublin. The hotel has a decent breakfast restaurant. The staff were helpful booking taxis or reservations. There are several places to eat nearby too. The room was sizable with a double bed and a single bed."
