Ok. I had never heard of this hotel prior to staying this stay. It was an overnight stay that was necessitated by the storm that shut down Dubai Airport. My wife knew or the hotel because it is a feature in a reality tv ahow called Dubai Bling. In any event, the lobby of the hotel is spectacular, as was the view from the upgraded room we got. It overlooked the Creek. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful...but that is a standard in a 5* hotel in Dubai or anywhere in the Middle East, for that matter. Why did I give it a 3* having said what i just did? Well, the rooms were old. They have an old style. They felt old and felt like they needed to be upgraded. Dont get me wrong, they were clean. The room we were given was spacious and had a lovely Creek view. But it did not have that consistent feeling that is young, vibrant and fresh that characterises Dubai. We also happened to have dinner in the Italian restaurant in the hotel. Frankly, the restaurant decor was awful. The chairs were coated in what was undoubtedly rich curtain-style thick fabric in a kind of 1970s bad taste. For as fresh and impressive as the lobby looked, the rest of the hotel had that rundown look. It's not a property I would stay in again, Dubai Bling or not. I suppose its depth of character is consistent with the fickleness of that reality show.

You would expect to be truly spoiled for the price paid, but no. Both my check in and check out were delayed. Staff are not very welcoming also, but they are not rude. The rooms are clean but they are old and need renovation, and the decoration and design and colors of the property is gloomy. They do not pay attention to details, the breakfast restaurant had junk thrown to the side of the area, which is not very pleasing. All in all, not worth the price or stay.

Spa staff need to work on their attitude!
My stay at the Palazzo Versace hotel was marred by disappointment due to the behavior of the spa staff. Despite previous complaints, there was no improvement. I requested a late checkout, and they granted an additional 1.5 hours, but the spa personnel were unfriendly. After checking out, my request to use the spa facilities was denied, and the communication could have been more courteous. When I sought to meet with the manager, I was told they were in a meeting without a specific end time. Despite waiting for 1.5 hours in the lobby, there was no response. There seems to be a lack of appreciation once you leave the hotel. However, the Italian restaurant, Vanitas, was excellent, with superb food quality and professional staff. The room was comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were polite. The doormen were also courteous. Unfortunately, I was disappointed when they didn't allow me to use the spa at the end of the day. Nevertheless, I appreciate the positive experiences from the deserving staff.

There were several issues with the stay despite rated as 5 star hotel. The mattress was supposed to be king size 1 piece but we got two twin beds conjoined. Despite explaining to front reception that we are unable to sleep nothing happened for a day so we could not sleep for 2 days. Then, we called house keeping service who understood and was courteous and changed the mattress to 1 piece. Yet the quality of mattress and pillows were subpar. We did not get good sleep here at all. Due to a spa appointment at the hotel after checkout time, we requested for checkout time extension. They graciously agreed but still locked us out with card expired and we were in bath robe and locked out. It was a bit embarrasing and panicking to go to front reception like that. So, there was a miscommunication and that need to be sorted. Although they did renew the card promptly but definitely not a 5 star service. It seemed that they wanted us to be out soon. We checked the hotel immediately but was not happy. Front desk did not seem welcoming. They did not even ask at checkout time how was your stay. Not coming back here for sure.

This is my second visit to the property and I stay here because I find it to be a good value for a 5 star property. The location may not be as convenient as some of the downtown hotels or as resort like as some of the beach hotels, but I find it to be quiet and a bit more relaxed from the hustle and full on tourist jam of downtown. The property itself is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, from the parquet flooring to the mosaic tiles in the bathroom to the furnishings. The staff is very attentive and professional, but friendly. I enjoyed the spa which was very nice and the services were great. Three pools to choose from and they were all fantastic. Several restaurant choices and the food offerings were excellent. I would highly recommend this property. The short car ride to downtown or other attractions is not of concern for the overall experience and amenities this property has to offer.

"My recent stay at this hotel was, without a doubt, the worst experience I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, I didn't feel welcomed at all. The room I was given had a persistent musty odor due to humidity. It was unbearable. During my three-day stay, I was continuously harassed about the breakfast buffet. Despite having paid for all three people, the hotel staff repeatedly claimed I had only paid for two. They would approach me at the table while I was eating, subjecting me to embarrassment in front of my group. I have never experienced such treatment at a hotel before. Don't be deceived by the name; the level of service at this hotel barely reaches three stars at best. Mostly the management staff were rude not the others

Luxurious decoration through the hotel. Truly one of a kind, the hallway is decorated with fashion portraits and Versace scarves. Never seen a hotel so elegant and detailed oriented, even its elevator is nicely furnished. Would recommend to all! One small downside is that the neighborhood is still under construction so nothing much to do around and not the best environment.

Very nice hotel in need of a face lift. The receptionist Hadeer was the most professional and caring person I have ever met in all the hotels I have stayed in. A true asset to Hilton Ramses. Beautiful but Isolated.
We had stayed here before when there was a club if you were staying in a Club room. The Club was lovely with morning and afternoon tea and champagne and hors d'oeuvres in the evening. They have ceased the Club and now, even though the hotel is beautiful, the isolation from Downtown would make us choose another more convenient hotel. There is nothing in the neighbourhood within walking distance.

Stayed 2 nights in June of this year. At checkin all they cared for was to try to upgrade the room. Started with a price and kept reducing the price like a bazaar. Our room was spacious. Although it had a foul smell which made our sleeps difficult. We complained to the front desk and they said it’s from the humidity and that’s it’s the norm in Dubai/weather. It’s weird because we stayed at 3 other properties afterwards which smelled perfectly fine and fresh. They offered to spray air freshener which helped but by the middle of the night the odour smell would come again and disrupt our sleep. The property itself is run down. Definitely needs a makeover to freshen the property. Aside from the beautiful lobby area, you could spot inaccuracies throughout.

The front desk agent who checked me in was SO friendly and super helpful. I also enjoyed my VIP upgrade. The suite was immaculately decorated and the view was picturesque!
